Katie Hopkins only lasts one day in Australia before being spat out.

https://www.theage.com.au/national/k...18-p58aps.html

Quote:
Far-right commentator Katie Hopkins has been dumped from Channel 7’s Big Brother VIP a day after boasting about flouting infection controls while in hotel quarantine in Sydney.
Ms Hopkins told her 261,000 Instagram followers she had opened her door to guards naked and not wearing a mask to “call out” Australia’s quarantine system and lockdowns.

It's a win-win for Seven - they don't get her on BB but get her on Border Force!

Needy attention whore demands people pay her attention.

Just send her back on the next flight or give her a prolonged detention.

The Conservative Governments want her gone as much as the left wing Opposition.

Wherever she goes, she's about as popular as a pin in a condom factory. The UK is sick of her, so she goes somewhere else, and they get sick of her after only one day. Bravo, Australia.

Y'know what?

Make her do the full two weeks of Australian quarantine properly. And every time she breaches the iso rules, make the count start again. Also, turn off her wifi and internet, and block her mobile phone.

Then when she finally manages that, deport her back to the UK, where she will have to do another two weeks quarantine on arrival.

If she is as stupid as we think she is, she could be "in the bag" for a few months.

This is the curtain pulled back on the right wing: only the political rightwing idiots believe the pandemic is a hoax and vaccine refusal is 'freedom'!

But the actual right wing, the one that hasn't been contaminated by Dump's propaganda sees the pandemic as a threat and the vaccine as an important tool to fight it.

Interesting observation: Katie Hopkins must be the first Big Brother contestant to be voted out of the Big Brother house before she'd even got in.

She wanted to be a star on "reality TV". So REAL reality bit her hard on the arse first.

Never heard of her before now.
After looking her up, she seems to have failed at becoming a majot media figure in the mainstream, and , seeing the kind of dough right wingers like Rush Limbaugh were raking in in the US, she decided to become a Brtisih Limbaugh..and seems to be failing again.

I don’t know if she has ever been influenced by Rush Limbaugh, but yes, her schtick is to make a career out of spouting toxic right-wing talking points and trying to be as unpleasant as possible.

She's lucky she wasn't treated the way our government has treated Islamic boat-refugees and visa violators: Banishment to isolated wretched prisons for years and years while they "process their legal situation", something she as a flaming race-baiter is in favour of. Being evicted on the next flight is a VERY cushy outcome indeed.

So you have seen our current conservative federal government!

Also, "whimsical" is the wrong adjective. "Barely constrained fascist" is closer.

I figured that would be a little on the nose. The good news is you're still only fantasizing about concentration camps for the politically obnoxious. The bad news is you already have concentration camps for the ethnically undesirable.

The point is it would be poetic justice for her to fall foul of the same treatment that she has been a loud and rabid cheerleader for.

I would be very surprised indeed if she's come out in favor of Australia's concentration camps. Do you have any cites?

Really this is nothing particular to Australia.

Suppose I was given some work in America and given an exemption to a travel ban in order to get here, ahead of some Americans who were stranded overseas and unable to get home because of the travel ban that I had been able to breeze through.

Then suppose I had posted the kind of material that Ms Hopkins has been posting from quarantine.

It would then be highly likely that my American employer would cancel my contract and that I would have to go back home to Australia.

You would be “very surprised indeed”? Really? Why would you be very surprised indeed given that she referred to migrants as cockroaches and suggested that Europe “get Australian” on immigration?

I know we’re going to have to have several rounds of hairsplitting, but would you really be “very surprised indeed” if this woman supported concentration camps for immigrants?

After reading the OP I am SO tempted to turn off Safe Search and look for "Katie Hopkins Naked". But I'll probably resist.

Fair enough. Color me surprised.

More importantly, color me chastened for not suspecting as much on my own.

Angrysoba, I owe you an apology and a debt. For the first: I'm sorry. For the second, we'll see if I can pay it off.

Thanks for that. I appreciate the admission and you don’t owe me any apology. As for the debt, the slate is clean as far as I’m concerned.

The American employer would also be suitably shocked by the turn of events.

The democracy sausage is not mandatory, but yes, that's the bunch of wankers who fell backwards into government last election because the opposition was so disorganised they could not actually run a sausage sizzle let alone a country.

I figured that would be a little on the nose. The good news is you're still only fantasizing about concentration camps for the politically obnoxious. The bad news is you already have concentration camps for the ethnically undesirable.

The REALLY bad news is we still have concentration camps at all. They are repulsive and a source of shame for the vast majority of Australians. But they are "expedient" for our Home Affairs minister's politics. He isn't well-liked...

We have actually offered to take some of your Concentration Camp inmates, but the Australian Government has declined that offer. Why? Because they don't want them coming to NZ, being good citizens and earning NZ citizenship, because that would result in them having the right to go live and work in Australia.

Manus Island is disgrace, and a stain on Australia's otherwise good name... I'm sure you would agree with that statement.

Good riddance. She's in the air right now, having been put on an outgoing plane this afternoon. I hope that while up there she has a powerful epiphany that makes her rethink her life choices.

Maybe they can put her on GB News and she can do the Covid Report in the nude.

At least no viewers will be offended as GB News literally has zero viewers!

Was she given a seat or did they cram her into the undercarriage as someone escaping a repressive regime*?

*Not one for non-judicial punishments so of course I don't think that should happen, but I once heard her commenting about an attempted asylum seeker who had managed to stowaway in the under carriage of a plane who was found dead when the plane landed in the UK, her only concern was that "we" wouldn't have to pay for their burial. After all she is fleeing the repressive Australian regime.
