Coward.

Not only is Johnson trying to rewrite history, so are more Republicans, including the usual Trump colon residents.

Quote:
Four House Republicans sent a letter to Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Monday, suggesting she may have been involved in delaying the deployment of National Guard troops both before and during the Capitol siege, a claim the House speaker’s office quickly bucked as a “partisan” attack.

The letter from Republican Reps. Rodney Davis (Ill.), Jim Jordan (Ohio), James Comer (Tenn.) and Devin Nunes (Calif.) suggests Pelosi wielded influence over the security decisions before and during the Jan. 6 attack due to her “enormous institutional responsibilities” and involvement in “all operational decisions made within the House.”

The lawmakers suggest that Pelosi was involved in denying a request former Capitol Police Chief Steve Sund claimed to have made for National Guard troops prior to the attack, though it has been reported that Sergeant-at-Arms Paul Irving did not consult with Pelosi about the decision.

“The response from the [sergeant-at-arms], acting on your behalf, was that the ‘optics’ of the National Guard on-site were not good and the intelligence didn’t support the move,” read the letter.

The lawmakers also claim Pelosi may have played a role in delaying the deployment of troops while the pro-Trump mob was inside the building on Jan. 6, saying “it took over an hour” for Sund’s request to be approved “because the [sergeant-at-arms] had to run the request up the chain of command, which undoubtably included you and your designees.”

Drew Hammill, Pelosi’s deputy chief of staff, labeled the claims baseless in a statement to Forbes, accusing the members of a “transparently partisan attempt to lay blame on the speaker” and highlighting the fact that the letter does not question Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) about his involvement in the parallel decision by his chamber’s sergeant-at-arms to reject Sund’s appeal.

Did Nancy Pelosi refuse security for the Capitol on January 6 because she knew what was coming, and wanted to put the blame on Trump?

I think Nancy Pelosi would much rather there weren't a mob inside the capital at all that day. You know, the bit about how everyone was worried that if there were a serious incident it could interfere Biden's transition?

Just askin' questions there, Dinesh?

What an ass. This attempt to shift blame from Trump to Pelosi is just pitiful.

So...
According to Souza, Pelosi's entrapment was to see whether Trumpers would commit a crime?
Devious.

I know it’s a bad idea, but I would love to see some Democrats suggest that these four fatheads provided information about Pence’s location to the murderous rioters and suggest they danced with glee because they secretly hate Trump and were happy that he would get the blame.

Because she wanted to be in a small confined space with Republican asses who refused to wear masks in close quarters.

Ah, yes. March 20. In the Constitution. That, I assume, would be in the twenty-twelfth amendment.

The word "had" is probably a mistranscription of "heard". There is a QAnon theory that Biden wasn't actually inaugurated. They claim the inauguration was faked with video trickery and special effects...for some reason. There is a QAnon guy named Charlie Ward who lives in Spain and claims that he saw the inauguration live in Spain at 7 AM, 10 hours before the inauguration would have actually taken place. As proof of this he has provided...his say so.

Never mind why it would air live in Spain with the pre-recording being aired everywhere else later or why Biden wouldn't have just recorded it at the proper time or why it makes a difference if it was pre-recorded if it did actually happen anyway or how this actually means anything. The point is it is FAKE. It is FAKE gosh darn it.

I now return you to your non-Conspiracy Theory discussion of the coup.

The QAnon Shaman, Jacob Chansley, is "wounded" he didn't receive help from Trump. Also, he claimed to be sympathetic towards Trump due the way he (Trump) was treated by the media, given that he (Chansley) is a life long victim of harassment.

He also did nothing wrong at the Capital on the 6th January and also stopped someone from stealing muffins from a breakroom.

I heard on the radio that the idiot had a bit of a temper tantrum during a hearing and complained loudly about being denied bail/pre-trial release. Oddly enough, the tactic did not result in him getting bail.

I thought the tantrum was from the guy who put his feet up on Pelosi's desk.

"A Trump appointee who was arrested after participating in the Capitol riot asked a judge if he could be transferred to a cell with no cockroaches"

https://uk.yahoo.com/news/trump-appo...154723319.html

"Federico Klein, a former State Department aide who was arrested after the Capitol riot, complained of his cell conditions to a judge.

He said he had trouble sleeping because he felt "cockroaches crawling" all over him. Klein is believed to the first Trump appointee arrested in connection with the Capitol riot.

"I wonder if there's a place where I can stay in detention where I don't have cockroaches crawling over me while I attempt to sleep," he said, according to a report from the Washington Post. "I mean, I really haven't slept all that much, your honor. It would be nice if I could sleep in a place where there were not cockroaches everywhere."

The judge, Zia M. Faruqui, told Klein in response that he would soon be moved to another jail in Washington, DC. Faruqui also said the conditions would be addressed at his present cell."

You'd think he'd feel at home with roaches.

You would think he would like staying at the Trump Hotel Washington...

Obviously there's been a mistake. Poor prison conditions are for /criminals/.

In other cases, the conditions that a prisoner is held would be seen as important. (After all, there are issues of prison overcrowding, health care, etc.) So something like "The jail I am being held at does not have proper pest control" would be something that required attention.

However, the individual in question worked (and supported) Stubby McBonespurs, a president who liked the idea of filling prisons with "bad hombres". So, not much sympathy for him from me.

I wonder if anyone asked him if, when the cops arrested him, whether they kept him from bumping his head while putting him in the police car.

Yeah, that was Richard Barnett of Arkansas. He went a little nuts during a bail hearing. I understand his frustration. He was hoping to get out on bail and this is the second time they pushed the bail decision into the future. I believe his next hearing will be on May 4th.

This guy probably doesn't get it. He became an icon of the insurrection by sitting with his feet up on Pelosi's deck. They are going to make an example out of him. There will be people who will avoid prison but he's certainly headed there.
