Really? To my eyes, it looks like a man with fake knockers and make-up, wearing a dress!

Maybe it's just me, but Eddie Izzard is looking pretty hot these days.

I'm a straight man and I found Izzard more appealing in earlier appearances looking more masculine.

Of course, Izzard's job isn't "be appealing to me". I want to see the next comedy special.

Eddie Izzard is stunning and brave, while Queen Letizia is a pampered parasite. It's all quite simple really.

The cult has permeated the telecommunications field in New Zealand.
Terfs are being cast aside by the higher quality humans.

The social media boss at Spark is a lesbian, and is confused sufficiently to not understand she is category misogynist.

TERFs seem not to have much cultural currency outside TERF island. These kinds of campaigns would probably be more effective in the UK.

Meanwhile over here on Terf Island, there was a big march in support of trans rights this weekend, attended by about 25,000 people. There were banners, slogans and speeches, including this one:

by Sarah Jane Baker, which seems to have been well-received by the huge crowd. Baker was defended by the organisers of Trans+ Pride, who said Baker 'holds a lot of anger' which she had the 'right to express... through their words'.

Sarah Jane Baker, incidentally, was jailed for kidnapping and torturing a relative, and then once in prison was convicted of attempted murder when she tried to strangle another inmate, so threats of violence from her are a little bit more worrying than just banter.

I've not seen any of the gender critical feminists say anything like this, but it seems that what little distancing there is from this incitement to violence, is along the lines of Clive Lewis MP who said it was wrong, but there have been violent language and actions on both sides, and then failed to provide any examples.

FYI, Musk has further degraded Twitter, and while I see the tweet you linked, I can't see what it is in reply too, which I presume is important context.

Twitter is increasingly becoming a worse place for public discourse. A screenshot is probably the better approach at this point.

'Advocating violence against others is wrong & this is no exception.
But as you’ll be aware violent language and actions are not unique to one side on this issue.'

Philosophical disagreement with gender identity ideology counts as 'violent language'. Just as criticism of religion is literal violence to a fundamentalist and therefore might logically equal physical violence against a blasphemer. We need to transgress these artificial boundaries between criticising ideas and criticising people, between speech and action, and between addressing an argument and trying to intimidate or punish the arguer, in the true spirit of free speech and scepticism. Get with the program.

It's the ******* internet people.

90% of all opinions across every topic is keyboard warriors threatening violence when we all know they would die of septic shock from the fresh air if they stepped outside for 5 minutes.

I've had literal death threats sent to me for liking one animated version of Sonic the Hedgehog over another one.

Maybe I said this before, but "Miss X" pageants seem like one place where gender is both definable and more relevant than sex.

These women are competing to a particular standard of femininity and feminine beauty. If anyone can define "woman" as a social construct, it's the judges of women's beauty pageants. Sure, their standard is arbitrary, stereotypical, and regressive. But there it is. If a bedicked contestant thinks he can get on the judges' good side by putting on a dress and putting up his hair, go for it. Even if he's not even remotely the most "feminine" contestant who ever trod those boards, he can still hope for the virtue signal vote, at least in local or regional contests.

Some might bemoan the adulteration of beauty pageants with the womanface of drag, but how far apart are the two, really?

JoeMorgue, there's your answer. That's what the social construct of gender is, on the women's side, anyway: Whatever wins regressive stereotype beauty pageants.

TERFS leave the heavy lifting to their more explicitly fascist allies. People like Posie Parker don't need to personally advocate for violence when they have nazis showing up in support of their movement who will do the dirty work for them.

Well, if you liked the version from the first live action trailer better than the release version, you got off lightly.

Your binary thinking is sadly inadequate for this discussion. You seem to think there are only two sides: pro-trans rights and everyone on the other side. Feminists like Katherine Stock and JK Rowling are not fascists no matter how much you fantasise that they might be.

How many of the death threats you received were from people who spent 30 years in prison for kidnap, torture and attempted murder?

I'm in full support of expressing one's anger, as there may well be things to get quite angry about, and properly so, but expressing one's anger, even vehemently, doesn't require, nor justify, advocating violence.

Lewis isn't wrong to point out that both exclusionists and inclusionists have been known to resort to violent language and imagery at times. That said, only the trans inclusionists seem to be going mainstream with violent rhetoric, holding up signs at rallies attended by lawmakers and openly preaching about the felt need to punch TERFs in the face. What violent signs and language have the terven been caught upholding at their events?

If you're going to quote Judith Butler, at least provide a citation.

I don't know about the UK, but this kind of hot rhetoric would not be considered criminal incitement to violence in the US.

Great - so the best you can say about it is that it's not actually illegal? High praise indeed.

The trans rights movement is a male violence movement - prove me wrong.

As I've explained, feminists are not "friends" with Nazis. It's not my fault if your binary thinking can't comprehend that.

Here's a radical idea. Let's not let our standards for basic human to human decency get to the point where we are discussing whether or not it's literally illegal.

Like we should be able to come to some kind of agreement on a lower level then this. We all get that right?

At least that's an improvement on the diabolical rag you quote, where the article starts with: "A 22-year-old man beat out nine women to attain the title of “Miss Netherlands” on Saturday".

I decided to pop in and see how far backwards we've gone in the past week or so.

Looks to me like Rikkie has undergone full GRS.

She is not a man. She's not a woman either, but she sure as hell ain't no man.

She's a very good-looking trans girl. Probably a very good person, too.

Mildly amusing that the only non-critical English articles I can find on her are from South Africa and Russia.

Kool Aid drunk. Check.

If only you got out more and maybe met a trans person or two, instead of sitting at home drinking in the sensationalist articles about the few bad men who are using the trans lobby as cover.

May as well be a false flag, but no matter, you've bought the Gold Plan anyway.

It’s an erection rights movement. No right is more fundamental than for a man to enjoy his erection in women’s spaces while everyone else has to pretend he is a she.
