Royalty has nothing at all to do with this.
Both are wearing the same dress. The female wearing the dress is subjected to criticism as being too old. On the other hand, the male - on whom the dress looks OBJECTIVELY less attractive - is lauded for it. It's misogyny, not preoccupation with royalty. |

Let's employ your own logic.

This is the inherent problem with the internet. It destroys all sense of scale.
Any group above about... 10 people is gonna have an ******* or two in it and any group above 100 is going to have a violent ******* or two in it. That's just law of averages. Here's a harsh truth. In the internet age examples are hardly better than anecdotes. Any one of us could pick a "side" and go scour the internet until we can list off a dozen examples of the side we don't like being bad. It means nothing in a digital age. We need to look at hard data that exists on a societal scale to make any sense of this and most all actual data points at violence against trans people being a legit problem and trans people being a hidden sleeper cell of kiddly diddlers sneaking into elementary schools so they can do the Silence of the Lambs dance in front of little Johnnie by using their amazing powers of "Still looking like their original gender because 99% of them can't actually pass for ****" isn't. |

"I can find an example of something sexual on the internet" is the weakest flex possible. Like that's the Planck Weakest Flex.

I'm curious how much transphobia, from TERFS or more broadly, is mediated primarily by transphobe's pornography consumption.
4chan style right wingers seem absolutely obsessed with it, seemingly consuming trans porn whenever they aren't denigrating them. There's probably better ways for someone to come to terms with their kinks and fetishes than to be obsessed about AGP and talk about it all the time. |

I think some people have a deep fear that if we upset the apple cart we're reducing their pool of available partners. If a bunch of women start being men, there won't be enough women to go around. I know I heard crap like that during the biggest days of gay rights, at least parts of that battle that happened during my life time.
Maybe because I'm already settled down in a long term relationship but I guess protecting the 50:50 male:female ratio isn't something I feel the need to do and I don't see if becoming a real issue anyway. Trans will always be niche. It's not a threat to the dating scene's balance of power. |

And to expand on that that, I think more closeted horniness, is really where most of this comes from. I think the "X haters keep getting caught watching X porn" stuff is more a symptom that happens later on down the line.
Part of this is just because we live in a society with a thousand different views of sex, not a single one of them healthy and don't really a great way of talking about sex for as much as we talk about it. What you want in a sexual partner is hard to explain for a lot of people, and not just people from non-traditional sexualities. I think people, young men especially, get talked into or talk themselves into the idea that unless they are 6 foot 4 and drive a Bugatti they are going to die alone and yes this is getting close to the whole "incel" thing a can of worms I can't imagine will improve this discussion all that much so I'm going to keep this in the vague and broad strokes but I can... get, not endorse, not even understand, but "get" on a very basic level the fear of having your potential partner pool reduced, even symbolically. |

It isn't a real issue in terms of trans rights and gay rights, because as you say, the numbers are too small. But that doesn't mean it can't be a big issue because of other factors. For example, where there's significant levels of polygamy or sex-selective abortion, that can throw off the balance considerably, and I think the outcomes really are bad. But that's not what we're dealing with here in the west.

But in this case (the one where the convicted torturer threatened violence against "TERFS"), the threat of violence was applauded and cheered by just about everyone at a large rally of Trans Rights advocates. Sure, only one out of a hundred is actually violent, but it seems like a large proportion of the other 99 support that violence, or at least do not object to it. Why not?

Comprehensively disproved, but a lie that led to the battering of the 70 year old woman in Albert Park. It was a lie promoted by the minister of immigration, a nasty man.
Her own words just before she came. But when pressed on the presence of people at her events giving Nazi salutes, Keen-Minshull said: “They’re absolutely not associated with me whatsoever. “I absolutely abhor anything to do with Nazis. It’s preposterous they even exist in 2023.” I guess you call her a liar. |

I know where I am.
You say nothing to condemn big pharma and surgeons wrongly diagnosing American children as trans for profit. Or maybe you do I just didn't notice. Biden supports influencer Dylan Mulvaney, a social contagion perpetrator. The rest of mature trans people are outside my comments. |

You're "curious" about the porn consumption of "TERFs"? How ... curious.

The most obvious parallel is the incels, sad men who think certain biological facts preclude them from being happy, when the reality is that their radioactive personalities are the primary impediment to them forming any kind of romantic (and often platonic) relationship.
Then you have the example of Graham Linehan, who decided being a online anti-trans troll was worth pissing away his generally favorable reputation as a beloved television writer and, at least by his own description, his own marriage. Or JK Rowling, who could have spent the rest of her life on PR autopilot and been a mega celebrity much beloved by a generation of children who grew up with her books, to now being denounced by like half the people who ever worked with her and people treating Harry Potter fandom as a guilty pleasure. Kinda sad how the TERF brain worms destroy people's lives like this. Rowling could be jetskiing in olympic sized pools filled with expensive champagne every day or pursuing luxuries that you and I can't even imagine, but rather she spends her time slap fighting on social media and writing bad fiction with strawman versions of her targets of derision. Real sicko stuff. |

Evidence for this ********.
I've asked before, but how about you having a crack at giving one transphobic quote from Rowling? You won't because there isn't one. But you and others will keep repeating Rowling is a TERF/bigot/transphobe with no evidence at all. You should be ashamed of yourself. |
