Sure. But with Biden it's mostly because he's so old. He's famous because he was well known 20 years ago. Or 50.

if the biggest and often it seems only substantive criticism of biden is call him old then that kind of explains why there's no serious primary challenger against him imo

Using that same standard of hyperbole, Biden is running against an escaped mental asylum lunatic screaming gibberish, throwing his own ****, and raping everyone he sees, so the guy who can’t walk and talk should be fine.

Oh, dear. Someone has fallen for GOP propaganda machine.

If he can't walk, I guess his walker, cane, and/or wheelchair are invisible?
When he talks, at least he has something to say other than "witch hunt, rigged, stolen, fake news, corrupt, and a myriad of insults.
He sniffs little girls' hair? LOL! You do realize those are altered videos with sniffing sound edited in or him simply leaning in to say something? Or do you?

At least he's not been found liable for sexual assault or caught on tape admitting to grabbing women's genitals.

Dr.Sid you keep repeating yourself. I do believe people have answered your assertions with contradictory evidence but it appears you aren't interested in looking at the facts.

Is there a reason you are campaigning against Biden in this forum?

His falls certainly are not invisible. It's not like it disqualifies him to be a president .. but again .. do you really don't have anyone better than this old man ? You look at US and say: yep, he's the best ?

Obama would have eaten Trump alive in a discussion. Biden is glad he remembers his own name. He's just not the best speaker. He's barely A speaker. Though to be fair, it's still fine as long as he reads.

All fake, sure. One after another. And no, it's not about sniffing sounds. Even touching child which is not yours is IMHO totally not acceptable, president or not.

That's the thing .. you still measure Biden if he is better than Trump, and that's it. And what's dangerous, you only care if he's better in your eyes. Well in my eyes Biden is surely better than Trump. But basically everybody would be. Thing is, based on the polls, Biden is not that much better for everybody. It's actually pretty close.

Wake up ! Trump is the worst presidential candidate ever .. and Biden is barely beating him .. if that. What does it say about Biden ?

The reason it's close is because in the US you have to be a member of a party to vote.

People define themselves on being red or blue.

It's embedded and ingrained partisanship.

Nothing. It’s says something about the American electorate, which is unfortunately full of uninformed, gullible people who uncritically believe everything the media feeds them. They repeat ridiculous narratives that are untethered from reality, like that Biden can’t walk or talk, or remember his own name.

Also, no one is “beating” anyone. We don’t use polls to choose our leaders. Polls are effectively meaningless.

Polls always turn for chump after he takes a big hit. The losses motivate the magats to speak out. Then they kinda forget as that loss gets buried in a pile of other losses.

Polls don't elect anyone. This is all noise without signal until a vote is taken.

Biden is doing as well as can be expected with the mess he inherited and two wars going on.
And it's been pretty stable going for the nation.

The one man orange clown show going on is all repercussions of a life of crime, a corrupt pseudo president and a heap of his attempts to stay out of prison.
We can only hope his horrible sideshow has convinced a lot of people to never vote for him again. At least the many he pulled under the bus without even thanking them for the sacrifice.

Does that make them better at video manipulation ? It was just first video I found, and imho exactly zero of it is fake. Cut out of context ? Maybe. But I can't think of context which could excuse it. Biden is just old senile creep. And all democrats are like: nah, it's fine, what could possibly go wrong.

You are doing exactly what they want people to do: look at various clips and let their confirmation bias/prejudice/nasty minds do the rest. People see what they want to see in them and it says more about them than Biden.

For example, this was one that Biden critics got a lot of use from:

YouTube Video This video is not hosted by the ISF. The ISF can not be held responsible for the suitability or legality of this material. By clicking the link below you agree to view content from an external website.

But what did Stephanie Carter herself have to say about it?

“As the sole owner of my story,” Carter wrote, “it is high time that I reclaim it – from strangers, Twitter, the pundits and the late-night hosts. I won’t pretend that this will be the last of that picture, but it will be the last of other people speaking for me.”
Quote:
Quote:
Biden, she said, had hugged her because he sensed she was “uncharacteristically nervous” and had leaned in to thank her for letting her husband serve in the Obama administration. He kept his hands on her shoulders “as a means of offering his support”, she wrote.
In her Medium post, Carter said the image in her case was “a still shot taken from a video – misleadingly extracted from what was a longer moment between close friends – sent out in a snarky tweet – came to be the lasting image of that day.”
Quote:
The Joe Biden in my picture is a close friend helping someone get through a big day, for which I will always be grateful.”

What about this "Creepy Joe" nonsense?
Another widely shared image showed Biden leaning towards the 13-year-old daughter of the Delaware senator Chris Coons at his swearing-in ceremony in 2015 and kissing the side of her head.

Coons told the Washington Post his family is extremely close to the Bidens, and that his children see the former vice-president as a grandfather figure.

“She did not think of it as anything,” Coons said. “All three of my kids have known Joe their whole lives.”

More from the same SkyNews Aus. as your posted clip. Notice the language used and how they hype the 'Creepy Joe" bit. At 1:27 in, they play the "baby sniffing" video that has the manipulated sniffing sound added and then comments "He sniffs too many children, that man."

YouTube Video This video is not hosted by the ISF. The ISF can not be held responsible for the suitability or legality of this material. By clicking the link below you agree to view content from an external website.

If you want...or need...to believe this kind of thing then that's on you.

We've known for a while that things that would and should have done for ordinary politicians do not work the same way for Trump.

As with Nigel Farage, Donald Trump does well when the media says things like, "Can you believe he is thinking about doing stuff that panders to the worst instincts in society?"

Because the worst instincts in society are not that rare.

New Bloomgberg/Morning Consult poll has Trump leading Biden in almost all battlegrounds, with or without Kennedy, with the exception of Michigan which is tied (heads-up) or a 1-point margin for Biden (with RFK Jr.).

I do not want Trump reelected, but unless the Democrats dump Biden and Harris, that seems the most likely outcome. The window for the GOP to save us by denying him the nomination is closing.

Seven years running of Republicans backing a psychopath and yet somehow it still remains the fault and responsibility of Democrats.

Here’s a wild idea: Maybe this is the fault of responsibility of Republicans and they should be held accountable for fixing it?

It continues to be weird that you employ maximum hyperbole for Biden but soft-pedal Trump. You don’t appear to be even slightly interested in having a serious discussion.

If polls in January still show Biden trailing Trump, Dems will pressure him to pull out

The post you quoted did not place blame for the past anywhere. It only described a future response.

Among other difficulties like finding what incentive they could offer, finding his replacement, and just the general idea of the DP ever making any move just because it would be politically competent, the biggest block is probably psychological: to reverse course now would equal admitting how long & far they've been going down a course that was wrong all along. The entirety of the pro-Biden case has always consisted of "ELECTABLE!", which is incompatible with suddenly now admitting that his electability is actually relatively low.

I'll give Biden 10/10 here - even he knows it's a problem, so poke fun at yourself: https://www.politico.com/newsletters...ws-it-00126664

No, it did not place blame anywhere. I did. I just used that post as a jumping off point.

It might be nice if Biden would, you know, campaign. I see the occasional TV ad but nothing on Twitter/X or Facebook. The Dem super PACs aren't doing much either. They should be slamming Trump. Every time I look at my phone I should see that Trump is stupid, a traitor, a business failure or all three. Trump is down with his legal troubles but I don't see anyone kicking him. That's a problem.

It's not the Democrats' fault but at this point I do think they are the only ones who can fix it. The Republicans aren't going to get off the crazy train until it crashes.
