Operation Blackout

The Truth Movement is again collecting money:

http://world911truth.org/operation-blackout/

This time it is to promote the nano article released earlier this year, which they think got far too less attention from the mainstream media. They need 25.000 dollars by 9/11 2009, so that they can send out 1.500 packages with some of Jonesí and Gageís work, the nano article and other information on 9/11 to all the mainstream media.

Now I was wondering, donít they usually see the mainstream media as part of the inside job or what happened?!

Personally I am quite convinced that the reason why the mainstream media is not interested in the nano article, is that they can see that it is complete nonsense.

The sad part is the "truthers" don't understand that if it was a real story the media would pay them for it. It's really kind of sad (pathetic) they don't get this.

I'll give them credit for at least trying to do something for their cause beside posting on internet forums.

I've thought about sending the link to Jones' paper to some of the people I work with who actually do nanotechnology work, but I'm quite sure no truther would be interested in what they have to say because they are "government".

The problem is that the term nanotechnology is so abused (and in the case of chemistry ill defined) that attacking the paper from the POV of nanotechnology is unlikely to be a particularly worthwhile aproach.

That may be true (our nanotech labs are very new).

However, I'd could also show it to people I work with that have been doing analytical chemistry and materials characterization for many, many years, but they'd probably still be rejected for being government related.

Hey Truthers, guess what?

No one in the MSM is interested in your BS nano-thermite story. Not NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, BBC, or even Fox News.

No one...cares about...your crap.

They live in another dimension, so postage is a bit more expensive for packages delivered to the real world.

The stuff it seems closest to would be some of the work solid state chemists do.

Thai as tied was, just another four letter word for DIRT! If you had ever had Thai/Tied Stick, you would have got the joke.
