True, but it is no longer a question (Biden for President?), we need a spot for speculation, and The Biden Presidency-Elect is cumbersome.

Plus, it's not that often that I get to start a major thread.

Never. Even with the gains they made they are nowhere near controlling the House and given the setup of the country probably never will. The Senate can't start Impeachment Proceedings.

I mean they could definitely try and make all kinds of other stupid fuss, but they can't impeach.

Yup. It's totally Biden's fault that 240,000 Americans have died of Covid. And I guarantee you they'll say that.

I repeat the daring prediction I made in another thread;
Biden's choice for Secratary of the Interior is going to be from a Western State.

Biden needs to negotiate with Putin to get ahold of the pee hookers video.

Q. What's the difference between a garbanzo bean and a chickpea?

A. Trump never paid to see a garbanzo bean.

Through the miracle of science, we now have the ability to read news articles from the future, so we can see how well Biden's presidency is doing...

From: MSNBCNN - Feb2023
Republican senators under senate majority leader Mitch McConnell have once again rejected Biden's latest nominee, leaving him with absolutely no Cabinet members. The lack of a functional cabinet has impacted Biden's ability to deal with a government shutdown, now entering its third year, after attempts to address government funding in December 2020 fell through. Repeated attempts to negotiate a solution to the government funding problem have been unable to reach a compromise, as congressional tea partiers have indicated that the deficit is the most important issue ever, and has always been. A GOP spokesman has stated that "We have offered a compromise... either Biden can resign and turn the government over to republicans, or we can leave the government shut down".

Won't happen. They'll let him have his cabinet. Might argue about a couple of appointments just because.

Biden presidency will be simple. For at least two yeas, republicans will permaobstruct him and their biggest effort will be thinking up how to blame democrats for republican's obstructionism and scream how Biden is doing nothing.

USA continues to rot.

Sure, sure. Maybe, just maybe they can do Obama (that had free hand in two first years). But when system itself is broken, it is just question of time.

When Obama took office Mitch McConnell said the sole function of his US Senate would be to make him a one-term president. You can't get much more obvious than that. And don't forget the Trump Effect: Trump will be screaming about every cabinet appointment as radical left socialists. They still need to be afraid of him for a while.

Seriously, Biden could nominate Rudy Giulianni for AG and Trump and the R's would have a fit about how liberal he is.

Executive Orders are used solely by Commie Socialist Fascist Dictators, not REAL 'Murcan Presidents.

Biden's will probably be mostly overturning some of the 700-1000 Trump will put out in the next two months.
