I posted a link to the test upthread.

Draw a cube (with an example to look at while you draw it). Draw a clock showing 10 minutes past 11 (or something, I don't want to look it up). Name these three animals (lion, rhino and a camel). Name as many things as you can in one minute starting with the letter F.

Six points out of 30 if you know the year, month, day, time, place (the building you are in), location as in city you are in.

There were a couple memory questions, remember 5 words you will be asked later.

It was essentially a test to see if a patient was completely out of it or not. The doc in the news conference made a huge deal discussing who thorough the test was. It was one page long. Unbelievable.

Yes, likely. Also, the Navy cooks in the kitchen come to work but the stewards at the WH don't. He may have trouble ordering lunch.

Nah...lots of people score 3//30 on the regular test. He was given a special test... a super-duper, extra difficult test that only stable geniuses are able to pass.

I admit that when our US engineers come across for training I'm amused how easy they able to be wound up by discussions about Trump.

Seems like all they'd have to do would be to change the subject to Brexit.

You know, glass houses and all that.

I think that article is wrong in saying that racism can't work both ways. That doesn't mean to say that there's an equivalence between racism perpetrated by or racist views held by different people, but then I think that's likely true even for most people who share a race.

It's right in saying that calling Trump a racist for saying racist things and acting in a racist way is not itself racist, though.

I wonder if calling him "orange" is, though?

It sure looks like I’m about to lose my bet.

A year ago I proposed a $20 bet - that one year hence, one way or another Donald Trump would not still be President. A bet no one took me up on.

Lack of imagination on my part, I suppose!

As a last-ditch distraction I expect The PDJT to shave his head. Or even lose the combover. That would show the world he's really, really, serious this time. More serious than ever before.

Corruption, corruption everywhere.

Quote:
A year into Donald Trump’s presidency, records show five of his top staffers still have not secured final approval of their financial reports — disclosures that are required by law to ensure Americans that these senior officials aren’t personally benefiting from their White House jobs.

Another four staffers received certification by the Office of Government Ethics after McClatchy first requested their forms last month.

The delay is likely due to Trump staffers either refusing to disclose mandated information to OGE, failing to resolve a conflict of interest or violating an ethics law or regulation, according to two ethics experts familiar with the long-standing process. But delays can also occur when White House ethics officials don’t force staffers to comply or because OGE is behind on paperwork.

The number of Trump staffers without certification a year after inauguration is not normal, according to Walter Shaub, who served as OGE director until he quit in protest in July and joined the Campaign Legal Center. “That’s a high rate of failure or delay—and those are the ones the White House knows OGE will review, so the problem might be even worse with the reports that don’t come to OGE,” he said.

As the government is on the verge of a shutdown, Trump's in Mar-a-Lago, hosting a celebration of his inauguration. At $50k a plate. How is this acceptable, in any way, shape, or form? There's dereliction of duty, corruption, profiting from the office, the huge waste of tax money...

I think it’s being reported he’s canceled, or at least postponed, the trip.

He already tried that. Sort of.

It didn't work.

From: https://www.si.com/extra-mustard/201...nia-hair-match
It all started during an episode of Raw in January 2007, when Trump dropped thousands of dollars in real cash down on the crowd. (It was McMahon’s money, because Trump doesn’t give away his own money.)
...
The feud continued to escalate until Trump and McMahon decided on a “Battle of the Billionaires” match at WrestleMania 23 in Detroit with the stipulation that the loser would have his head shaved.
...

McMahon lost the match, of course, and Trump took great pleasure in buzzing his hair off.

Overheard at my work circa 1987: "Yes, I think all Chinks and Gooks look the same. But if you're saying you think I do this because I'm white, then you're the real racist. You should be ashamed."
