I'm not sure I'm going to be able to get more of the pins that we used last year. Would anyone be upset if I made new pins for everyone so we have enough and they all match?

Ordered.

ANNOUNCEMENT:
We are getting new buttons for everyone, so don't worry about bringing last year's with you.

I think I know everyone except Vissud by face so I'll be able to hand those out when I get there. If I don't see you at the bar on Wednesday night, I'll leave what's left at the Forum Table on Thursday morning. We will have extras so any last-minute volunteers are welcomed.

I'm going to bring my button from last year, anyway, in case there are problems with the new ones. (Not that such a thing is likely.)

Or, just in case my delicate emotional feelings on the matter requires it.

I intentionally ordered them well in advance in case there was anything wrong with them I'll have time to fix it.

If anyone hasn't seen this, TAMbassadors (and the forum table) have official mentions in the TAM FAQs this year.

Quote:
What is your advice for making the most of the event?

Introduce yourself to as many of the outstanding guests and speakers and fellow attendees as you can. If you are new to TAM, be sure to visit the TAM Forum table, to get a 1st Tammer sticker, and meet TAMbassadors, who will do their best to show you around and help you get the most out of the conference.

BTW, will there be 1st TAMmer stickers buttons again? Hope so--I think they're a great idea. Any need to help with funding?

We will be having another pow-wow with security about what to do if issues arise. What are your arrival dates and times so that we can organize this?

Would this be the same powwow session the volunteers are attending? Because I already have that on my schedule.

It might be. I didn't sign up for volunteering so I don't know those details.

You mean you have a date and place for it already, or it's just something you expect to be doing? (I've volunteered, but I haven't heard anything back yet.)

I haven't seen a time for the powwow, but Scott did send out a draft schedule for the volunteers via email a short while ago. If you volunteered and you didn't get that (didn't see your name on the list, zoot), you may want to reach out to him. He might have missed you.

Thanks, I've done that. Should have known better than to trust these new-fangled web forms...

I mistrusted that depersonalized (and TAM-untested) web form from the beginning. Waited until Scott announced it here on the forum and then sent off an email.

Since no one knows me by face, I'll find Mitch who can direct me to who has the badges. I've been on a couple vegan/vegetarian meals with him the last two TAM's, so he might recognize me when he sees me.
