You should be able to find out a lot about the next one, all you have to do is read the court documents about whatever fraud they are currently being prosecuted for.

It seemed impossible that Trump would find a replacement for AG worse than Sessions, yet he did.
I guess if anyone is capable of finding someone less suitable to be National Security Adviser than Bolton, it is Trump.

Don't forget Trump did - he started with someone less suitable, he's worked his way UP to Bolton!

Yeah I know that's even scarier isn't it!

Ricardel seems to just be a cantankerous beeyotch. She was originally one of the Trumpiest people in the admin, getting into feuds with State and Defense because their selections for jobs weren't sufficiently orange.

Then she goes and picks a fight with Melania's people? She's just into career seppuku.

I hope Bolton stays. If we can't get that reprehensible **** Miller out in the open, at least we have the warmonger-in-chief visible enough.

New Wapo reporting adds weight to what already seems obvious: the whackjob who is POTUS has been in extreme meltdown mode the past week.

Five Days of Fury: Inside Trump's temper, election woes, and staff upheaval
  • Epic post-election press conference meltdown
  • Receives congratulatory* call from Theresa May; he berates her
  • Skips memorial event
  • Erupts at staff for making him look bad for allowing him to skip event
  • Holes up in hotel room, watching TV nonstop and tweeting CTs
  • In a huff with Macron; he feels personally attacked
  • Continues with barrage of CT drivel from plane ride home
  • Unloads on Macron
  • Skips Arlington on Veteran's Day
A week in the life.

* She took his election victory proclamation seriously?

Belatedly, my favorite part of his epic press conference meltdown was when he listed the Republicans who didn't fully embrace him, and proceeded to lose. It might as well be a scene from Heathers.

Sounds like somebody said "no" to Trump's immigrant whore.

There is no way we can let comments like this get buried in the other thread.

Posts like this need to be exposed for all to condemn.

Really amazing

So is "New angry Trump" here to stay? Is Trump completely unable to maintain his old act in a government that isn't 100% sycophantic to him?

Interesting choice for the subtitle to thread part 11.

I wonder is someone found an audio recording of Trump's encounter with Stormy?

Factually (yes I know we are in Trump world and facts don't matter but we have to start somewhere) Melania IS an immigrant so I guess it is the "w" word you are objecting too? OK then, let's call her an Immigrant Mother to an Anchor baby and a cause of Chain Migration. Is that better TBD?

As Parsman says, she's an immigrant. No problem yet, right. I commend the author for showing restraint not to describe her as an illegal immigrant, as that apparently is a possibility.

As for "whore" -- Do you also object to "prostitute"? I admit that my negative opinions of Trump are such that it's inconceivable to me that someone would choose to marry him other than for financial gain.

Though the comment is crass, and probably best left unsaid, it aligns with how I see her.

Hang on, the statement was made via “her spokeswoman”?

She’s married to the President, couldn’t she just have a word with him? Or does she have to rely on making a statement to the press and hoping he’ll see it on Fox News?

There have been zero tweets about the migrant caravan by Trump since the election.

Glad to see he finally saw the error of his ways, and developed a new respect for the plight of those people.

What other reason could there be for the silence?

This was the perfect cue for him to get out the steel ball-bearings and show his math on the missing strawberries. Even the (normally) dictator idiot friendly local press in Thailand is talking about him having lost it. The Paris shenanigans were compared to a five year old pouting in his room because nobody lets him win at football.

I think we're now seeing the history that's going to be written, assuming he doesn't get us all killed..... The Batcrap Crazy Presidency. Talking to a conservative American dad at my son's school the other day, I asked him what he thought of the drooling idiot he voted for. "He's got about 15 points less IQ than Wilson at this point", he said, "and I don't mean the President; I'm talking about Tom Hanks' volleyball!"

What about the people who swallowed that it was actually a national security crisis? How do they rationalize that nary a syllable has been spoken since election day?

You thinking about changing sides?
Nah. He's just upset because the right is supposed to have the copyright on misogyny.

Perhaps he's also put out that this is coming from one person, who does not represent 'the left'? I know I felt it was a wholly inappropriate statement.

Please tell me you're playing a role.

A child could understand that the dig is towards Donald, not Melania.

Also don't pretend that you suddenly care about misogyny.

As for "whore" -- Do you also object to "prostitute"? I admit that my negative opinions of Trump are such that it's inconceivable to me that someone would choose to marry him other than for financial gain.

Though the comment is crass, and probably best left unsaid, it aligns with how I see her.
Don't forget that her apparently working illegally was cleared up at a press conference 2 weeks after the allegations were made. Saying that I don't recall what was said at the conference and my googlefu is weak tonight as I can't find a transcript from that press conference....

I believe she's living less luxuriously now that she's in the White House. Perhaps that's why she looks pissed all the time.

That's the claim by her and her lawyer. But the basic question -- did she have a legal work visa at the time she was actually working? -- has never been reliably resolved.

Sure, I'll happily condemn the use of the word "whore". Will you condemn the president of the United States calling someone "Horseface"?
Yes, and the first person to respond to that post, as opposed to others was this:
