I have a much better, more appropriate, and technically more accurate term for Avenatti... shyster!
Unfortunately, there isn't a clip available on youtube, so I can only quote it, but it's a great line from Blake Edwards, S.O.B, said by Robert Preston, playing a questionable doctor, to Julie Andrews, when she calls him a 'shyster', "Madam, a shyster is a crooked lawyer. I am a quack!"

36 count grand jury indictment against Avenatti released today. Includes charges for bank fraud, tax fraud, wire fraud, and bankruptcy fraud. Oof.

This indictment is out of California and doesn't have anything to do with the Nike extortion case, as far as I can tell.

Indictment alleges that Avenatti deliberately failed to file his disabled client's paperwork to the Social Security Administration, resulting in the loss of benefits, in order to conceal that he was embezzling settlement money from said client. The client stopped receiving SSI benefits in early 2019.

Boy howdy, that's slimy (allegedly)

If I was Avenatti's lawyer, I would recommend starting smack-talking Clifford and all Democrats, and suggest that he has secret information that he will leak in exchange for a Pardon and an Acting AG post from Trump.

Maybe this explains how he was able to point his finger at Trump being such a greasy, slimy, scammy, con artist grifter...

Takes one to know one?

Stormy Daniels may be the only party that emerges from this whole affair without a criminal conviction. Only the best and brightest!

Then it doesn't have anything to do with the OP..

It seems Avenatti, Best Attorney Ever, has tried to defend himself against the news of the recent indictment by tweeting out a client endorsement:

...evidently unaware that the indictment actually includes this specific endorsement, which he allegedly compelled his client to sign, as a piece of evidence against him:

Bad descriptor, given that the one thing he seemed to have done right was the initial lawsuit by Clifford.

Why don't you call him weirdo racecar coffee boy.
