We were warned... we'd miss Spicy if he got the boot. I hope Melissa keeps doing the bit, and with the podium. Maybe as Spicy motoring around to job interviews, or in line at the unemployment office. And I can't dredge up any sympathy for him as a private citizen getting mocked... he gave the gig his full throated support. He's hardly innocent. |

A handful yesterday, and already ten or so today.
I see them most in quotes so I only just now saw he's adding a tiny subscript "us" after things like "USA" and "America". Is that new? Very odd. Nonsensical even. Makes for some odd juxtapositions, like... USAus. Are we pulling for Vienna now? |

Any Trump supporters here? I'm really confused by this tweet.

Second, if he wants the AG to look into this, why doesn't he ask him and then tweet out the answer? Doesn't the AG report to him? In the Russia thread I think logger even argued about Trump going up to Putin was assertiveness people were looking for in a businessman president. Why does he bring this point up but not order his AG to look into it? |

Your problem is that you're assuming there is a thought process behind his tweets.

I think he's claiming Comey was behind the recent WaPo story exposing Sessions' perjury.
ETA: This leak about Sessions is probably what Comey was mentioning he testified that he was certain Sessions was going to have to recuse himself from the Russia investigation.

One of the interesting things about Trump is the fact that he lacks even a basic understanding of the actual powers and responsibilities of the US President. Like how he has gone on complaining about how "no one really knows whether Russia interfered in our election" when he could ask the intelligence community and his aides to get the latest info on that subject.
This of course means he's oblivious of the more subtle but no less critically important things like avoiding politicizing and interfering with the FBI or justice departments criminal investigations. |

Reading his tweets from this morning, he truly has no idea how things work in DC, does he?

This is interesting: Kenneth Starr's team apparently believed that a sitting (Democratic) president can be indicted:

Why don't we just let FoxNews run the country, cut out the middle man?

Thanks. I was confused about that tweet. Seems like POTUS actually had a coherent point buried somewhere in there but managed to screw up the delivery. I was also a little worried about the Kislyak leaks. I presume that the Russians must already know that we intercept their communications, but confirming a specific intercept doesn't seem like something that should be leaked.

But if you look at the assertion, it lacks details one might use to confirm it is a fact.

Is this whole thing going to end soon or what?
