It makes me think that there's something specific that he thinks CBS will start teasing/promoting. Given his narcissistic impulses that make him believe everything he says and does is great, something would have to be pretty bad for him to immediately realize that the interview was going to make him look terrible.

I see it differently. Trump didn't like the interview. I think we all agree on that. But he imagines it went differently and in his mind his copy of the recording contains the 'differently'. But it doesn't.

No matter, he can tell his crowds and his Tweeter followers he has the 'differently' version. He won't play it. But after the episode plays he'll continue to claim it was edited to smear him and he has the proof.

The proof will never emerge. Two weeks go by and he'll continue to claim the 60 minutes episode was edited to smear him.

~Two weeks after Sunday, I'll come back to revisit this post to see if I'm right.

In 2016, Trump had a reasonably disciplined strategy going after key swing, Rust Belt states. What's he doing going for New York voters? Biden has a 30 point lead in New York. He needs to focus on the toss-up states and try to bring back at least one of the lean blue states he won in 2016. He shouldn't be wasting a single tweet or throw away line on New York. This smacks of desperation. Oddly enough, he's also paid (or someone has) for TV ads here in WA State. He's going to lose by a landslide here. The left coast outnumbers the right-wing folks east of the Cascades. This whole thing is going to give us a majority in the state house, and that's going to be great.
