So let me give ole Bobby Boy a way out of his fix. A challenge: Robert, document the details of you citation by giving us, via Facebook, a photo of your citation that clearly shows the date and time of the citation, the jurisdiction in which the citation was given, the citation number, your court date and location. Any information about the lady you say you were with may be obscured.

The game is afoot!
Bobby's working overtime on his Facebook page to hype the tired old notion that governments are mere corporations with which one may opt to not do business, thus escaping their jurisdiction.

I suppose he could be scared and is trying to convince himself this old theory will work in the same way a 6 year-old tries to continue believing in Santa. Does anybody know if, upon getting in front of a judge in Quebec, Bobby could be hauled back to Ontario on his old flight warrant?

The question reminds me that one possible Bobbyplan is do his signature flee-the-jurisdiction routine and leave Quebec, claiming he brilliantly beat the rap and only left for a job or some such thing.

The other possibility is that Bobby made up the whole curfew citation story and intends to claim he's walking the streets because he can actually make his freeman jive talk work.

Bobby's latest musings:

Quote:
. . .Every single agent or employee of the government is operating under contract and if they did not have a contract their actions would be clearly unlawful. . .

. . .The simple and arguable fact is that without any contracts at all the government would not have any agents or employees and therefore would simply cease to exist.

. . .If they all agree that they deserve contracts in order to provide performance or services to their principals than what right do they have to deny the people the same benefit?

. . .what right do they have to use contractless orders to secure the payment or performance of the people?
No, Bobby, you freakin' moron, the question isn't where a government gets its employees or how that government engages them. The question is how governments get their authority.

In the case of the western democracies that authority flows from their constitutions. It isn't a mystery as you pretend, Bobby.

So what if the cop who gives you a ticket has an employment agreement with the government that hired him? What really counts is that a government has the authority to make and enforce law.

As much as you would love to pretend, after reading anarcho-libertarian propaganda, it is not that case that all law is contract law.

We have covered this many times. How many Mosseheads are you knocking back each day that you can't get this?

Bobby has made his pitch to a new generation of freeman wannabes.

Now he's in the delivery phase of his comeback.

I suspect that, like Lisa Chamberlain, the new bunch is finding out that not only did the legal advice not work, but there are basic business problems at Menard Inc.

Prices are high? Materials don't always show up on time? Some "letters" don't apply to the client's situation? When the "letters" are ignored by the authorities Bobby says the client didn't do something right?

One suspects that, like the old ACCP victims, when clients complain that they paid hundreds of dollars for something that did them on good at all Bobby tells them there are no refunds.

Not quite getting what Menard is on about.

Every employee gets an contract of employment from the employer (or should).

The government employs the cops, therefore the cops get employee contracts. That will, in part, set out the duties and responsibilities of each party.

So what?

Is he moaning about where the government gets the authority to do that?

On Facebook Bobby says:

Quote:
Robert Menard Wish me good fortune in court today! Prayers appreciated!
Oh, please. This is sooooo Bobby. No mention of the courtroom he'll be in or what it's all about. That way he's free to make up any story he choses.

Menard thinks if he says the word "contract" often enough he'll convince his minions that all law is contract law and that governments are just corporations or businesses they can whose laws they can ignore the same way one refuses services from local lawn mowing companies.

The leap of logic to get to this conclusion is rather clumsy.

My bad. You have to register with Beth Martens, Menard's newest promoter, to see the videos in the "King Hero" series. I'd hoped the link might by-pass that requirement.

The video is an interview with Menard in which he is obviously drunk. He's clearly seen swilling beer during the interview. Even the usually admiring commenters at Marten's forum recognized that Bobby was drunk.

All he does is drunkenly repeat his old stories and themes.. .mainly "don't play in the government sandbox" & "imagine what would happen if enough freemen revolted".

Martens may end up putting the video on her Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/BethMartens/videos). But considering Bobby's performance and her dislike for Youtube she might not post it.

It seems Menard has revealed his latest project.

From his Facebook page:

Quote:
Robert Menard
June 20 at 5:33 AM

Artist Valley Reality TV Show
On a 200-300 acre plot of land 20-30 individuals or small families will gather and work together to create and build 20-30 small homes, workshops, chicken coops, greenhouses, studios, barns and garages, and community spaces.

We are looking for hard-working, community minded, artistic creative types. People who can live in a tent until we build their shelter. People who have skills to bring. Artisans who can do crafts. Retired elders who can bring their wisdom. Families with children who see the benefit of existing in a small cohesive cooperating community.

Viewers will learn how tiny homes are built, how chickens are raised, how to garden, homesteading survival skills, the challenges of living almost off grid, and how a small group of dedicated individuals can work to make decisions, settle conflicts, and survive a societal collapse.

This community of artists and artisans would be sheltered, cared for, and invited to produce their arts and crafts. These items would be made available for sale which people could purchase online. We would also hold farmers markets where local produce distributors are invited to sell their produce and the artisans and artists can sell theirs.

Depending on who the artisans were and what their skill sets are part of the show could be of a musical entertainment variety. Were these artisans once an episode will put on a show in the theater.

Part of the goal would be to establish a small microbrewery, a cheese shop, a greenhouse producing salads year-round, identify and implement alternative energy generation systems, and minimizing our environmental impact.

Tiny homes and cabins
Individuals and families would be aided in building small cabins or tiny homes or turning suitable sheds into suitable living structures. They would be free to build what they want provided it is deemed safe and unique. This could include structures made from shipping containers, Adobe structures, yurts, log cabins, standard construction using regular lumber.

Financing
Cost of materials for each individual shelter could be born by the participant and financed by one company. We are actively approaching a suitable finanicing company to help

Corporate sponsors
Corporate sponsors could provide their materials at cost to the participants and accept terms of payment.

They would be invited to donate materials for common structures and exchange for advertising on the show.

In the coming societal change we do not expect it to collapse entirely it would simply be more challenging for corporations to provide their services. This would grant them an opportunity to determine what works in these new normal situations.

We will be examining a new societal structure and mechanisms for decision making resource allocation conflict resolution and community success.
TV show production

Chris Harrigan is an accomplished videographer, movie producer and editor. He would be able and willing to come on board do all of the filming and much of the editing although he would require at times and editing assistant. That party could be drawn from the pool of people chosen to occupy this land.

Positive social impact
There's a very large positive social impact available here. Teaching people to be self-sufficient, self-reliant and to establish individual communities which do not require provincial or federal government oversight or funding could help to prepare people for any coming economic challenges. Governments are much like parents and they should be inclined to teach people how to survive eventually without them. This is as opposed to making citizens who are completely reliant on government at all times.

Decision making process
Part of the challenge these people will face will be setting up decision-making processes and systems for dispute resolution. The systems will not be imposed upon them and they will be required to develop an implement their own systems.

Hosting educators and craftsman
The valley for the community would invite on a regular basis craftsman and artisans who have specific skill sets such as blacksmithing, glass blowing, pottery and the like. These people would be invited to host workshops teaching people how to engage in these activities. They would be hosted for a week or two and would have their own cabin and access to community spaces.

Common areas
Common areas would include woodworking shop, metalworking shop, canning shed, cheese making shed, chicken coop, livestock paddock, greenhouse, garden area, community hall, pottery shop, music studio, gym

We are looking for between 20 and 30 individuals, couples, or families. Ideally we are looking for artisans and artists who are competent and capable builders and survivalists. We are looking for individuals who are capable of working in the community sharing resources and helping each other out.

This is freedom valley (a failed attempt at a freeman community) meets cirque de soul (a failed attempt at creating a troupe of traveling artists) from a 56 year-old loser who is addicted to Facebook likes and thrush of a new idea. I suspect Bobby is also trying to distract everyone from his recent disastrous, drunken interview with Beth Martens.

The nub of it is that Menard says he is going to create a small township. In the process acquire the land. Get wannabes to sign off on mortgages for their homes. Convince corporations to donate to this insanity. Create his own sort-of government. . .and get it all made into a TV reality series produced by a novice film maker.

Watch out folks! One way or another the money is going to end up in Bobby's pocket. This is the guy who scammed ACCP subscribers, sold World Freeman Society dupes useless memberships and created a phony video game company, Real 3Games, attempting to get investor's money.

If Bobby follows his usual gambit he's going to need some earnest money up front. There'll be some chatter feigning the progress of the project. Then, after Freeman Valley 2.0 collapses, wannabes will be out their money and the blame will be heaped on governments, banks, corporations and T.V. networks, who just couldn't grasp Bobby's brilliance.

Wow digging up a failed project for another newer group of gullibles. Talk about failure squared.
If any materials get donated (which I doubt) watch Bobby sell it out from under his community when it collapses and abscond with the cash. A man needs his Mooseheads and weed after all ya know.

But I really do think there will be lots of chatter on his facebook page, lots of like and encouragement but zero movement forward. Of course he will not give any updates unless they are glowing lies without any verifiable details. Just Bobby talk about how the world will soon bend to his will.

The way I see it there are two explanations for Bobby's golden olde freeman valley ruse.

One is that he's a self-deluded idiot who can't grasp that the freedom valley fantasy is unworkable at any level and at any phase of implementation.

The second explanation is that he's a manipulative narcissist who, after getting caught drunk on the internet yet again, is trying to flip the script by pitching a freeman/utopian society to the same sort of gullibles he's been scamming for years.

I suggest the explanation is the second one.

The long and the short of it is that Bobby doesn't need to create the "Artist Valley" to get what he wants.

A narcissist gains self-worth by getting over on people he thinks are inferior. I used to think it was remotely possible that Menard honestly believed the BS he spews. But when he willfully tried to cheat potential investors out of their money by creating a phony video game company (in the process stealing the intellectual property of Real 3Games) I became convinced there wasn't any lie he wouldn't tell.

In this case it's the same lie told twice.

Live independently, off the grid, and survive the collapse of society. Artists, performers, and craftsmen, a brewery, cheese shop, and greenhouse. You know what I don't see him mentioning? Anyone with medical training. Better hope nobody gets sick or injured.

There's a lot Bobby hasn't bothered to ponder.

Like, as you allude to, Armitage72, what the "valley" does about sick people who can't work?

Or what the community would do with slackers, or the freeman wannabe who thinks he and his family should spend 24/7 working on their scented candle business rather than pitching in on the walkway up to the community gym.

Bobby tells them they have to work for the common good?

And when Freddy Freeman's candle business goes in the ditch and his kids need a meal is the neighbor who had the sense to plant a garden supposed to feed them?

When pressed we can imagine that Bobby would say all this would be covered in an agreement the community's members sign.

So the freeman wannabe's sign away their rights to King Bobby?

Well, no matter. None of this is going to happen. it's all about Bobby getting the up-front money and moving on to the next "project" before anyone notices.

Bobby gives some details:

Quote:

We are happy to announce that Stargaze Entertainment Group has agreed to come on board and help produce and distribute the TV Show aspect of this project, and we have an agreement in principle for a suitable plot of land on PEI. It is right on the water and can house 17-25 plots suitable for low density small family homes.
More to follow!
Is this on the level, or the usual sugar Bobby spreads on the scam?

Stargaze Entertainment has a website that hasn't been touched in 3 years. Their Facebook page's last entry was 2018. But, the company has actively traded stock and appears to yield profits.

They haven't made any announcements about partnering with Bobby that I can find.

I've sent them an email asking to verify Bobby's Facebook post.

It initially seems at least vaguely sane. Then one reads it and finds it to be utterly bonkers. Bet bobby will not discuss it.

If this ever takes off, it'll go the way of Galt's Gulch, Chile I expect, not that it'll ever get that far.

The nub of it is that Menard says he is going to create a small township. In the process acquire the land. Get wannabes to sign off on mortgages for their homes. Convince corporations to donate to this insanity. Create his own sort-of government. . .and get it all made into a TV reality series produced by a novice film maker.

He should have gone whole hog and made it an artificial floating island.

Long ago when our good friend use to post here I told him the only true freedom could be had by going to sea. However, that would involve work, money to buy and support and maintain a vessel and also danger so it was a no go.

Land in P.E.I. is going to cost money. Good farm land on P.E.I. costs more than $4,000 Canadian per acre. Bobby's going to need several acres. If he buys poor land his minions won't be able to grow food. He'll also need a road in and out so the artists can get their work and products to market.

The Menardian jibber-jabber about an "agreement in principle" on the land is intended to impress the gullible. My guess is that the agreement, if there is one, is nothing more than bank and the seller telling Menard how they expect to be paid for the land and Bobby saying "ok, I understand" between pulls on his Moosehead.

All the talk about the T.V. producer and the land is intended to make it look like something is happening while Bobby soaks gullible wannabes for shares, or earnest money, or whatever he's calling the scam this time around.

Don't forget this is the guy who forged a letter from an Irish law firm claiming to support his legal theories.

This is the guy who bilked thousands out of ACCP subscribers.

This is the guy who stole the name of a video game company (Real 3Games) so as to fool potential investors.

Sounds like a Discovery Channel(s) project. Or maybe PBS! Except too many people, because those networks would be paying them.

Finally, from Menard's Facebook page, the hook. . .

Quote:
. . .we need people who can put money down to help purchase the lots. . . .we need people who can bring money to the table.
Have you bought a lot yet, Bobby?

Some asks some real questions:

Quote:
Christopher George Leroy Bavington
Robert Menard who owns the land where's it located?

Their may be a walk around for cash to buy land, who owns it is the real question

Is it alotial title or deed, deeds are greed, take heed an need, not greed, necessity over rules the law, see your playing with roman Germanic British literature of language, now think about what many are ******* with what we call English language.

And gets no answer:

Quote:
Robert Menard
Christopher George Leroy Bavington Hey dude, thanks for your input. Be well.

This a hoot.

Whenever somebody on this thread or Bobby's Facebook page mentions a hole in the plan for the artist valley Bobby quickly juices up the story.

Armitage72 says the plan doesn't address the medical needs of the artists and viola. ..Bobby divulges the previously unspoken detail that there is a working hospital just 300 meters from the property.

The food sufficiency of the valley is questioned and bingo...Bobby says there's a cleared and ready to plant field on the edge of the property.

Concerns about security are relieved with the revelation of an RCMP post just 200 meters away!

When the question of dealing with slackers comes up Bobby launches into a work credit/profit sharing screed that would make Lenin proud.

Has anyone asked about internet access yet?

Bobby's cornered now. His commenters want to know where the land is. If Bobby coughs up the location and the nearby municipality doesn't match his description he'll be caught on yet another lie.

The town that fits Bobby's story is Souris.

It is a rural coastal town, with a hospital and an RCMP post close to each other. Charlottetown and Montague come close to the description, but don't fit due to geography (Montague is inland) or lack of open space (Charlottetown has developed land all round the hospital and RCMP post).

My guess is that Bobby is mum about the project's location because he doesn't want folks contacting the authorities in Souris since the town is nothing more than the source material for his "story".

I wonder what his story will be when the subject of building permits, inspections and land use restrictions come up. A machine shop and metal shop are not residential or rural uses. His magic "You're not the boss of me" letters will fail miserably yet again.
Then we have to look at easements, zoning changes if needed and all provincial paperwork. Then comes the legal bills and fees before any purchasing can be completed.

Just for clarity, my wife is a real estate law clerk with 30 years experience in matters like this.

One of Menard's latest stories is that he got a city to pay for improvements and repairs to a lady's home required by building codes.

The story was that "the order" by the local authorities to make the repairs was the same as an order placed in a restaurant and since one has to pay for one's order at the restaurant that means the city had to pay for the repairs.

He actually claimed this ruse worked, inferring that the city rolled over like an obedient dog. Of course, we never got the details.

So why doesn't Bobby just make the city or the province pay for permits, improvements and such?

That's a silly question on my part since it's fairly certain that Bobby's real objectives are to distract attention from his drunken interview with Beth Martens and get some gullibles to pony up money, of which he'll get a slice, for artist valley.

By picking PEI as a place to set up his colony he at least has a chance some things will be nearby. Less so with any other province.

Fun Fact: Souris means mouse in French.

It reminds me of an episode of "Dirty Jobs" that featured a leather tanner somewhere in NY State. He mentioned occasionally getting letters from the EPA and the NY Department of Environmental Conservation about his operation and the chemicals he used, but claimed "they have no authority over me." I was working for the DEC at the time, so I got a good laugh from that.

"Short Cut" Menard strikes again!

We are getting an idea of just how dysfunctional Bobby really is.

During his recent drunken interview with Beth Martens he repeated his absurd claim that he was awoken to the truth of the law by reading the LSAT. He urged listeners to do as he had done and "study" the LSAT for at least an hour every day.

That's nuts.

The LSAT is not a study in law! One does not "read" or "study" the LSAT. One takes the LSAT exam. The LSAT tests the skills necessary for success in the first year of law school. It is thought to be a reliable predictor of first-year law school performance.

That's all it is!

There are more than a few study guides that will help one do better on the LSAT, but pouring over the test itself is a waste of time. It's worth noting that Bobby says nothing about these study guides (much less actual studies of law) and instead prescribes a pointless exercise which any prospective law school candidate would shun.

Now, based on what seems a minimum of investigation Bobby "Short Cut" Menard has picked out a spot for artist valley or as I call it, "freeman valley 2.0". Short Cut's pitch to prospective clients shows a shocking ignorance and disregard for the workings of building permits, inspections and land use restrictions.

Wannabe valley residents are blithely promised a gym, metal shop, a hemp processing building, private garden plots, art studios and chance to be the characters in a T.V. reality show.

One might ask how Bobby gets away with this fantasy pitching BS.

It's simple. He's a smooth talking grifter who pitches his woo to the most gullible people he can find. His victims mistake his silver tongue for competency and determination.

One of Bobby's critics pretty much nailed when he wrote:

The problem with this plan [C3POs], as with all of Menard's projects, was the execution. He was great on ideas but didn't have the drive or resolution to pursue them in the face of having to make an effort. He has never, to my knowledge, held gainful employment apart from some rumors about a stint in the army. As far as I can tell he's led a very marginal life for the past few year. His only significant income in the last decade (apart from possible speakers fees) was from an inheritance from his father which now seems to be gone.

Bobby replies:

Quote:
Robert Menard
well it appears some people are just to incredibly stupid to understand basic concepts.
I suggest people practice doing LSAT, not just read them over. I suggest they do that to develop reading comprehension, analytical reasoning and logical analysis. These skills are vital to studying the law properly. They are required to be able to properly deconstruct Acts and regulations.
I never suggested you read it or pour over it or study it, but do them.
This is in fact suggested by law schools to prospective students prior to taking the LSAT for entry into a law school. There are even courses you can pay big money to in order to prepare for the LSATs. These courses guide you through exact same types of questions, and show you how to process the information given in the questions.
Do an LSAT every day like you would a sudoku or cross word puzzle. It will develop the reading comprehension, analytical reasoning and logical analysis skills that 'others' are obviously seriously lacking.
PS - suck it Austin.
So, Bobby, you learned to decode the law by "doing" the prep for LSAT 17 years ago?

And how is that working out, Bobby? Not good, I'd say. Despite your tall tales you are zero for life in and out of court. The only thing you seem to have learned about the law is fleeing the jurisdiction of the courts.

Do you think it might have helped had you actually studied law instead of wasting your time endlessly pouring over the pretest?

Were you afraid you couldn't get into law school? Afraid Daddy was right about you?

Another tall tale?

Quote:
Robert Menard is feeling accomplished.

Well, it looks like the ticket I was given for walking after dark was successfully quashed by using the Consumer Protection Act and simply sending it back with a notice as per said Act.
Read that Act and treat the government (at least in Quebec) as a corporate service provider, and you have a lot of remedy.
PS - Suck it Austin.
Prove it, Bobby. Where's the documentation?

Looks like one of your commenters has caught on to the story telling:
