It's amusing to me that any theist can argue against other theologies. Almost always they resort to their own faith to prove they understand better. This seems to me to be nothing more than bullish insistence that they are right.

I know Baptists who make fervent arguments that Catholics are going to hell because the Catholics have statues of Jesus and other saints. They are idol worshippers. And Catholics who think that Baptists are going to hell because they don't submit to the authority of the one true church.

Your position doesn’t appear to be any different. But hey, believe what you want. That is unless you start attempting to lay down the law.

Religion is like politics: the commoners on the other side are hellbound dupes, and the leaders actively evil demons.

This is as much a slam on politics as religion.

If you believe (as most Muslims do) that Jesus Christ was a prophet, messenger, or messiah of the one true creator god, you're closer to being a Christian than most people here.

I guess we can take comfort in the likelihood that "everything in [his] power" probably won't affect much.

Holy Quran 6:146 For those who are Jewish, We forbade all that have claws; and from the cattle and the sheep We forbade their fat except what is attached to the back, or entrails, or mixed with bone. That is a punishment for their rebellion, and We are truthful.

Prohibitions such as clawed animals and the Sabbath were temporary punishments and tests for a tribe.

Jesus/Yusha, the nephew of the Prophets Moses and Aaron, and the Injeel, which came shortly after the Torah, already announced the end of these prohibitions.

Holy Quran 3:50 "Authenticating what is present with me of the Torah, and to make lawful some of what was forbidden to you; and I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so be aware of God and obey me."

What do we have here: a non-existent god reputedly forbids certain food for certain people as a punishment for whatever. Much later, this imaginary punishment is brought to stop by Jesus, who seems to have some sense.

But why is all this interesting, or important?

This is the 8th time I've asked you this.

The Quran states the following provably wrong, non-subjective falsehoods in a non-parable way.

1. It describes a geocentric solar system.
2. Similar to the Bible is describes the Earth as being created is six days.
3. It describes the Earth as being created before the stars.
4. It states that 7 Earths exist.
5. It describes the Earth and Moon as the same size and same distance from Earth.
6. It claims the Moon generates its own light.
7. It decrees that followers follow rituals that make no sense if the length of a day is variable, such as it is at higher latitudes.
8. Humans are created from clay.
9. Human descending from a magically created original pair of humans.
10. Sperms comes from the backbone and ribs.
11. Embryos are formed entirely from the semen.
12. It describes the heart as a thinking organ like the brain.
13. How you are supposed to face toward Mecca makes no sense if the Earth is round.
14. It describes salt and fresh water as not mixing in nature.
15. It describes a massive wall of iron as existing in Biblical (or Quranian or whatever) times.
16. It tells of Crucifixion occurring in Egypt at the time of Moses.
17. It repeats the oft repeated Noah flood myth.
18. It has a description of humans being turned into apes as punishment for breaking the Sabbath.
19. The whole flying horse thing which is in the Quran and I don't know why you try to lie and say it doesn't.
20. The inheritance rules don't add up mathematically, even if you round the numbers off.
21. Apparently if you have bangs you're a liar.

These are not "interpretations" or parables or "colorful language" or metaphors or some ancient people's interpretations of anything. They are falsehoods and lies.

Yet somehow Muslims still get Friday off. That was the best part of living in Jerusalem: you could wrangle a three-day weekend every week. The Muslims get Friday, the Jews get Saturday, and the Christians get Sunday. Now if someone would just shove a pillow in the 5:00 a.m. call to prayer...

I see the supposedly illiterate Muhammad knows what is in the Torah: Funny that!

I also see the verse ends with Muhammad telling people to obey him: Surprise, surprise.

Even with mainstream religions you usually get some version of "Okay you see we don't eat butternut squash on Thursday because our ancestors learned that was the day they were most likely to be under ripe" and I'm still like "I asked why you do it now, now why someone else did it a thousand years ago for reasons that no longer matter.

There is no limit to the amount of wealth in Islam, as long as it is acquired through lawful means. If there were a limit, there would be a limit of wealth equivalent to a certain weight/amount of gold or diamonds, but there is absolutely no such restriction in the verses.

Seems to be the case. Maybe he has to share the computer with 14 other Muslims and they get one day each.

So vague allusions to one book say something different than vague allusions to another book. Okay.

And what is more lawful than investing into someone's idea and collecting interest on that loan?

You say that Islam is kind and caring religion. And yet you are not being very neighbourly and answering an simple question. So I hope you don't mind, but I did ask. Would you please answer?

My favorite part of the Qur'an's teachings on wealth is where rich people are expected to share their wealth with the poor, orphans, widows, etc. This is because earthly wealth is clearly ephemeral and does not follow you into the afterlife. Your true wealth is in giving charity to others.

But please keep telling me how the "Communists" got it wrong.
