Well, that's depressing...a show in 2017 on Planet X

Complete with Nancy Lieder...

I battled with theses kooks at least 20 years ago when this disaster was imminent. May 2003 was it.

She was pummeled mercilessly to a pulp.

She must be laughing now.

Thoroughly depressing. Another show boosting nonsense with token opposition.

Makes me want to abandon battling all of this crackpottery.

Hhhhmmmm. So when can we expect coastal real estate to begin its 90% off price sale? Here in the Seattle metro area, we're already about 90 miles in-land from any direct "basin impact" along the Pacific Coast, though obviously a 100-300' wave would rip through the Strait of Juan de Fuca and slap around Puget Sound. So maybe we'll just get 50% land reductions? Or will all this jump our earthquake ratio up as well?

You do of course have battle scars with these folks over the last two decades, but keep the faith. Most of them are probably in the last 15% of their life span. So you're going to win ultimately since the new generation doesn't pay much attention to anything on video greater than 4 minutes.

I'm keeping the faith as most of the psychic detectives and mediums I've been haunting in courtrooms and on media are dying out too. So skeptics are actually gaining on paranormal delusional pretenders and frauds.

But keep up the good work anyway just in case.

It would really help if a ******** of shows on cable that should not be there were removed so as to lessen the number of idiots exposed to things supporting their incompetent beliefs!!!!!

Planet X will not strike Arizona. Move here where the only disaster is the State Legislature, now that Sheriff Joe is gone.

I'd never heard of AHCTV - had to look it up. It appears to be another woeful offshoot from the wonderful (cough) folks at Discovery Channel. They film this woo woo crap and peddle it to one or another of these so-called educational networks, depending on who has slots to fill.

On the bright side, it's one part of a six part series of various theories as to when and how the end of times will come. If you don't get you chuckles from planetary collisions, maybe you'll like total Armageddon or a global biological epidemic or the Sky Daddy sending his kid back to claim souls. It's a something for everyone series.

As Sherlock noted, with the passage of time, the more blatant nutbars are fading. The astronomical phenom snuffing life out is getting boring, I reckon. The late 90s were its heyday. We had Y2K, Planet X, 2012.... all sorts of wonderful book-selling stuff to look forward to. People raised during those years must be getting bored with this crap. Besides, they (the average consumer - which is what these people represent to the woo peddlers) have no attention span. Reading a whole book? Naah, they'd rather subscribe to a Youtube channel. But even the Youtube crap is too meaty (in a sort of "fluff and nonsense, repeated" = "meaty" way). Hell, debunkers and skeptics may be the only people watching the nonsensical 90 minute "latest findings".

Good old nancy LIEder

She was a mod over at godlike productions for several years hyping the various post 2003 dates, now she is pretty much alone over at the poleshift blog, with a couple of names that oldtimers might recognise

http://poleshift.ning.com/

Sad really, but she still gets a few supporting her bs (altho I still switch between they are doing it because they believe it or they are doing it for (in)fame or money)

I checked and the last time I actually went to her blog was when a Niburu supporter (sadly quite common on GLP) started quoting her old zetatalk site, but that was close to a year ago

Even the old GLP thread for the anti Niburu crowd ha been silent (apart from holiday greetings and the like) for ages (had some flat earthers bumped it for a few pages)
