You don't understand. Since some people here think all shooters, especially competitive ones are murderers in training, they need to be deprived of anything that helps them become a better killer. I'm not exaggerating and neither are they. Especially those cowardly snipers who engage at a distance.

Silly idea. It doesn't address any genuine problem,would penalise genuinely law abiding shooters and would be trivially easy for people to jury rig a usable equivilent.

So far as I'm aware there isn't an explosion of sniper killings in the US, better to concentrate on things that might actually make a difference.
