Omarosa has now been fired twice by Trump. The first was on Trump’s TV show.

Apparently she really did need to be physically escorted out. I assume she wasn't manhandled and dragged out, but they were ready to if necessary.

The escort is possibly just a formality. You'd have to surrender your credentials at the security station and from that point on, need an escort to move around the facility.
ETA: Not a whole lot of weight to "storming" the residence either, necessarily. A moment of hot-headed impropriety before being stopped at a checkpoint and reminded she doesn't have access to that part of the building and a few irritable words could have been all it was. I don't like to feed into the "fake news" thing, but it is a profit-driven business and sensationalism sells. Given the personalities in this administration, its not hard to find a few people happy to give quotes indicating a contentious stand-off as (conveniently anonymous) parting blows. |

I think they are basically saying she attempted to storm the residence. But you are 100 percent right. My guess is she had a temper tantrum at a checkpoint and then was asked to leave the entire White House grounds and an escort accompanied her to the gate. Having seen the childish way Omarosa acted on The Apprentice, nothing would surprise me about that woman.

I know the angle, don't get me wrong.
No, I mean the literal angle. This would call for a low, up-angle tracking dolly shot as she marches down the hall with a grim expression. Cue low, dissonant tone. Cut to: hand-held over-the-shoulder follow shot from Omarosa, key on guard. Cut to: static over-the-shoulder from guard, key on Omarosa. Tones rise, still dissonant, to crescendo, one more beat of tension as she reaches the checkpoint, aaaaaand commercial break. |

Also incorrect... which would make it... err... quadlice...
1. Apprentice Season 1 - 2004 - fired 2. Apprentice Season 8 - 2008 - fired (Celebrity Apprentice) 3. Apprentice Season 13 - 2013 - fired (All-Star Celebrity) It should be noted that Trump's tweet doesn't include the usual "they're such an awesome person" compliments. I'd imagine John Kelly wrote the tweet himself. |

Former Apprentice star on leaving Trump's White House: 'I've seen things that made me uncomfortable'
Omarosa Manigault-Newman denies reports she had been fired from her post as an assistant to Donald Trump, and says she has ‘a profound story’ to share. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...-uncomfortable President Grandpa will have something to say about this. Where’s my popcorn? |

Sounds like she's just plugging her book.
“As the only African American woman in this White House, as a senior staff and assistant to the president, I have seen things that have made me uncomfortable, that have upset me, that have affected me deeply and emotionally, that has affected my community and my people,” Omarosa said. “And when I can tell my story, it is a profound story that I know the world will want to hear,” |

Has anybody seen her on TV/video yet, after the ouster? Were the $.$ signs blinging brightly in her eyes?
This may become a book even I could buy, fodder for commutes or solutary after-work beers. |

You seemed to indicate that you thought that there may be something of interest for you in the book. I had assumed that this would be some kind of revelation about the President or someone close to him.
IMO if there is a book it will be exclusively about her and her time, it will tease at having some juicy information about the President and/or his Administration but this will turn out to be something like he really likes Big Macs. I apologise if I have misconstrued. The usual channels I guess. It seems that she keeps coming back to The Apprentice well to drink and that the President has also provided a job within his campaign, transition team and Administration. Despite the fact that he shouldn't, The President seems to exert considerable influence over the people running the Trump organisation so that could be one avenue to providing her with money, corporate donors may be another. As to why, I don't know, but he seems to have been doing it for a decade or more. |

So who's next?
Sessions? Mueller? Tillerson? Or a pardon and reinstatement for Flynn? |

Since Trump has taken to referring to Rosenstein as a Democrat, he might not have much time left.

Flynn's already flipped. No point wasting a pardon on him unless Trump thinks there's stuff Flynn knows but hasn't divulged yet.

Lowering the bar on witness tampering for the family though. Used to be you had a prostitute sleep with your brother in law while you filmed it, and gave the tape to your sister. Now that is real Trump-Kushner style witness tampering.

I'm guessing Sessions is next. Sessions replacement would take over the investigation from Rosenstein, who only has it because Sessions is recused. Then, that new AG can agree with Trump that donating to Democrats and saying mean things about Trump makes you an Enemy of the State so the investigation is "corrupt."
