Inconsistency ain't lying, but it was a perfectly set up perjury trap by an FBI full of fanatic never-Trumpers who all had one foot out the door because of their own unseemly and illegal conduct.

"Ask which sounds more likely: That a highly decorated military officer invited FBI officials to his office (with no legal counsel) in order to tell bold-faced lies? Or, as initially reported, he just forgot details of conversation?"
