Simply by melting the aluminum. I've done dozens of my own aluminum castings in small foundries. You inevitably have to pull the layer of slag and scum off the top of the crucible before you pour. It happens every time.

You might need to disqualify yourself for having actual knowledge.

Indeed. My post was a gentle way of saying, "If you have to ask this question, it means you've never actually seen molten aluminum. And if you've never seen molten aluminum, maybe your expectations are not the yardstick we should be using."

If I had to boil down (pun intended) what really irks me about the conspiratorial mindset, it's the celebration of ignorance. People seem to really take themselves seriously -- and expect others to do so -- when they clearly lack even basic relevant knowledge.

Ignorance is not just celebrated, it's a requirement. The absolute certainty of being right despite no functional knowledge. What, you have knowledge? Clearly disinfo agent! Plant! Shill! Can't have knowledge get in the way of theory.

The could Almost apply for Sean Hannity's Job at Fox News, or be President of the United States. As long as they spent years promoting idiot Ideas that could be debunked in a 5 second Google search.

I just call him Calamity, and his show suddenly made sense. But society, across the board, leans more towards selling something salacious over truth, and has for years. People would rather feel right than be right. Or, as AOC put it “There's a lot of people more concerned about being precisely, factually, and semantically correct than about being morally right,”

Acetylene Torch

The videos you’ve seen of the sparks pouring out of the towers were just that, sparks, not waterfalls of molten steel:

Acetylene torches can do the same thing, so why aren’t truthers investigating why there would be a clearly visible shower of sparks from an acetylene torch pouring out of an office building that would soon collapse into a cloud of dust? My guess is because Christopher Bollyn, Stephen Jones, the NYPD and the FDNY led them to molten metal and such is the power of suggestion, illustrating the importance of leading the opposition.

there were people in the building actively cutting it up to make it collapse?
they were willing to sacrifice themselves for this?

Why don't they look like sparks from a cutter then?

No man, the towers were hollow and those sparks raining down were just CGI effects, like the planes were.

Sheesh.

No, it seems they had it rigged with a torch to give the controlled opposition something to talk about.

You have no evidence for this claim. The 'sparks' don't even look like those produced by a cutting torch.

You can also get dripping glowing material from electrical transformer meltdowns:
