They want investors who don't worry about bad English in professional publications - i.e. they aren't particularly picky about what that might mean....

The investors "report" is terrible. They just throw together every slide they have made over the years.

As an investor, I want to know projected revenue, projected prototype realization, and proof of advancement of technology. I guess their slides claim the last one, but they do a bad job of it. There isn't a single good experiment in the whole lot.

The philosophy of this report is 'see all the science-y stuff we've been doing. Mills is smarter than you are, so just trust us'.

Mills is clearly driven, but he isn't smarter than most scientists I know. Most scientists are not delusional about the value of their own unproven ideas.

Mills may have started out delusional, but at this point, the whole enterprise is a fraud.

Does Mills have any track record beyond the article in Nature?

Same methodology as for the Nigerian email scammers, where the awful grammar is to weed out the smarter ones.

That link is probably dynamic. At the moment, I'm referring to the second article at that link from August 23, 2019.

Yeah he's gone full Mills shill:

Quote:
Dr. Randell L. Mills, a Harvard trained medical doctor, who developed this generator and the physical theory behind it, will be remembered throughout the remainder of human history as the single greatest being to ever have lived. A billion trillion years from now, people will still be discussing his theories and his invention. Mills invention is no less transformative than the discovery of fire. It’s a far greater achievement than the combustion engine or the telephone.

In one fell swoop, Mills will have overturned the standing theories of physics, dismantled the power grid, put an end to virtually all air pollution, put an end to poverty, put an end to wars over energy resources, opened up the entire planet to human habitation, put a serious dent in the ability of politics to control people, and saved limitless lives in the future due to a lack of power.

To be alive at the same time as Mills is a cosmic treat. The man is a living legend that has yet to be recognized. Like all great transformative scientists before him, academia has viciously attacked him, his theories and his company, on both a personal and professional level. Mills is truly the modern day Galileo. Like Mills, Galileo was viciously attacked by academia for his ideas, even though they are basis for all modern science today, to the point where Galileo spent the last days of his life under house arrest for scientific heresy.

Here’s what mainstream science has had to say about Mills and his work. I feel compelled to copy and paste this here for posterity, because once Mills’ generator hits the market, these comments are sure to be flushed down the memory hole. Brilliant Light Power (formerly Black Light Power) is the name of Mills’ company that’s producing the generator and doing the research. The following is taken from Brilliant Light Power’s wiki page, which Brilliant Light obviously has no control over (think about that for a minute, a company that’s prohibited from editing it’s own wiki page highlights just how terrified academics are of Mills and his theories)
Oh man is he deep in the pit of CT.

Oh father down it has a great piece: This is the 29th of August 2019

Quote:
Mills already has the “light bulb” portion of this generator fully prototyped and working. Obviously that’s the hard part since the rest of the parts for the generator already exist from off-the-shelf suppliers. Mills is projecting production units to be ready for delivery by the second half of 2017, with a fully prototyped working generator ready for field testing by the first half of 2017. Once Mills rolls out that first generator, be prepared for a monumental media **** storm to hit the public.

Back on 9th January 2017, michaelsuede started this continued a couple of times thread with a quite rational OP. michaelsuede now cannot even recognize BLP breaking promises (a prototyped working generator by 2017 in a 2016 article linked to in 2019!). That July 12, 2016 blog article reveals that michaelsuede has been drinking Mills Kool-Aid for some years.

The title is ignorant hero worship: "Randell L. Mills – A Living Legend, Greater Than Einstein and Tesla Combined".
Einstein and Tesla produced real science and real technology which the world has recognized.
Mills has spent nearly 40 years producing only crank science and promises of technology that have been broken. The world does not know about Mills other than mostly propaganda from his company.

michaelsuede has the idiocy of the Galileo gambit when Mills is an obscure crank with pseudoscience that only a few scientists have written about.

michaelsuede stupidly quotes experts opinions about BLP and Mills. Robert L. Parker "nothing to sell but bull ****" about a 2008 prototype with delivery or power systems in 12-18 months! Then:
Quote:
Steven Chu
In 1999, Steven Chu, Nobel Laureate in Physics in 1997, said “it’s extremely unlikely that this is real, and I feel sorry for the funders, the people who are backing this”.[7]

Phillip Anderson
In 1999, Princeton University’s physics Nobel laureate Phillip Anderson said of it, “If you could **** around with the hydrogen atom, you could **** around with the energy process in the sun. You could **** around with life itself.” “Everything we know about everything would be a bunch of nonsense. That’s why I’m so sure that it’s a fraud.”[6]

Wolfgang Ketterle
Wolfgang Ketterle, a professor of physics at MIT, said BLP’s claims are “nonsense” and that “there is no state of hydrogen lower than the ground state”.[8]

Michio Kaku
Michio Kaku, a theoretical physicist based at City University of New York, adds that “the only law that this business with Mills is proving is that a fool and his money are easily parted.”[6] and that “There’s a sucker born every minute.”[7]

Peter Zimmerman
While Peter Zimmerman was chief arms-control scientist at the State Department, he stated that his department and the Patent Office “have fought back with success” against “pseudoscientists” and he railed against, among other things, the inventors of “hydrinos.”[37]
michaelsuede lies that IEEE called Mills a loser. Loser: Hot or Not? is just the title of the article. It is part of a Winners & Losers 2009 Special Report. It ends with
Quote:
Snapshot: Water Into Watts
Goal: To develop a power-producing reactor that unleashes energy by inducing hydrogen atoms to transition to an energy state below the ground state.
Why it’s a loser: Most experts don’t believe such lower states exist, and they say the experiments don’t present convincing evidence.
Who: BlackLight Power
So maybe michaelsuede believes Mills is an "it" !

"Academics typically don’t even bother commenting on theories that have no scientific merit" ignorance . When academics are asked by reporters as above for their opinions on a theory, of course they can comment on a theory that has no scientific merit.

An "imaginary particles" in QM delusion. QM includes real particles with their real properties that are observed.

Theoretical physicists are "high priests of science" and "theoretical physics is a religion" delusions. Especially deluded because Mills is trying to be a theoretical physicist doing theoretical physics as in the theoretical physics in his book!

ETA: The blurb

Quote:
In addition to highly accurate power balance measurements by the recording the temperature change and water boil off of the water bath calorimeter (August 23rd video), SunCell® power measurements are being performed in molten gallium metal calorimeters. Rather than a water bath for cooling, a pool of 20-50 kg of gallium metal serves as a large heat sink, and the power is recoded by the increase in temperature of the gallium bath that is well mixed by an electromagnetic pump that also serves as a molten metal injector and an electrode of a pair to maintain a unique very low voltage plasma. Even with a specially fabricated thick-walled spherical cell and a large metal heat sink, the power developed as soon as the hydrogen flows into the cell is so great that it causes a blowout through the thick stainless steel wall. The theoretical power from conventional chemistry with hydrogen addition is zero. The reaction of atomic hydrogen to hydrino or dark matter form of hydrogen catalyzed by HOH catalyst present in trace is the basis of this extraordinary hydrogen power source.

Yup. It's a filter mechanism. Those who recognise that the crappy spelling and grammar are "tells" that it is a scam are likely a waste of their time. Those who fall for it are likely "marks".

I have wasted a lot of Nigerian's time responding as though I was a gullible fool. The more time they waste on me, the less time they have to exploit their intended victims.

Plus it is quite entertaining. If you are bored.

Quite a few people do it, heaps of recordings on utube of skype voice chats, and of course the original 419Eater website...
419eater

Of course they ALWAYS say 'bait safely', never from a personally identifiable email or your home phone number... (via email, set up a 'fake' account that you don't mind losing, as they sometimes put in multiple complaints to the provider to get it closed down)

Also 'swatting' has become a thing to watch out for if you phone bait and use your home phone...

Well it is a vast improvement. Took them 30 + years to engineer it up to boiling water! Who knows? By maybe 2100 they just possibly might have figured out a radiator system to attach to this that could heat a small flat. The possibilities are endless. The engineering is tricky though. So no guarantees on forward looking things mentioned here.

Hey that was some very snappy dance music. I call it the Mills' magic music grind.

This is it, 100% proof - there are two computer monitors showing graphy things and a 1000 Hz thingy so it has to be all real sciencey now! How could we have doubted his genius?

Two molten metal injectors, each comprising an induction-type electromagnetic pump, pumped Galinstan streams such that they intersected to create a triangular current loop comprising the streams, two Galinstan reservoirs, and a cross channel at the base of the reservoirs. The loop served as a shorted secondary to a 1000 Hz transformer primary. The induced current in the secondary maintained a plasma in atmospheric air at low power consumption. The induction system is enabling of a silver-based-working-fluid-SunCell® - magnetohydrodynamic power generator of unsurpassed power density and efficiency.

You mean, you can take metally stuff, and put voltage on it, and make it spark against other metally stuff? I'm blown away. Who would've known?

Who do they have working for this company? It isn't scientists. It might be a few low-rent engineers who are told "build this, and see if we can get some glowy hot stuff that we can video".

A scientist would jump to the heart of the matter -- prove net energy creation, or pack up shop.

Instead, BLP ihas a guy holding an iPhone showing sparky stuff. "But, it's gallium streams! And magnetohydronamics is a cool word!" Idiots.

Be fair, it's not just a video. There's also a 5-slide PowerPoint presentation that you can download: https://brilliantlightpower.com/firs...ition-systems/

I like the phrase "enabling of". It implies that what follows is now possible when in fact it is not.

Very cool looking, like those sound reactive electric ball things they sell at Spencer's Gifts.
