Steve Wynn quits amid sexual harassment allegations.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-42848795
US casino mogul Steve Wynn has resigned as finance chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC) amid sexual harassment allegations. A Wall Street Journal report on Friday alleged that the 76-year-old billionaire harassed massage therapists and forced one staff member to have sex with him. Mr Wynn has denied wrongdoing, calling the stories "preposterous". RNC chair Ronna McDaniel told US media she had accepted his resignation. Mr Wynn has blamed his ex-wife, whom he is fighting in court, for the "slander". |

Since there's evidently a formerly-private millions-dollar settlement with one of the victims, it will be difficult for Wynn to defend himself without exposing those details to show why the situation didn't constitute harassment.

Since Weinstein proved that every single Democrat is pro sexual harassment does this finally mean that we get to make the same blanket accusation against the GOP?

Why does a billionaire have to sexually harass anyone? With that kind of money can't one simply pay for any kind of sexual indulgence?
I know, it's not the sex, it's about asserting control or dominance over another person but still. I just can't quite wrap my head around the idea of people with vast amounts of money needing to abuse others sexually. There are lots of people who will do whatever you want in the bedroom for the right price. |

It's for exactly the reason you said. Some people cannot be bought, so they must be dominated.

Don't expect many serious answers to that question! I had the same problem, but some people contributed with good links to articles about the minds of rapists and coercers. |

So when are Republicans going to demand that the GOP give back the millions that Wynn donated to their campaigns? Or..is giving the money back something that only Democrats should do if one if their contributors is a sex predator?

I think the whole "it's never about sex it's just power" is half BS. Sounds good but I don't think it's true very often.
The thing is with people like Wynn and Trump, they answer to nobody. They are so rich and connected that they can literally do whatever they want. Bribe politicians, law enforcement maybe, buy an island - they have no boss. They can buy almost anyone - a person accusing them of a crime, a politician, a CEO. And they don't hear the word "no" very often. People fawn over them and women throw themselves at them constantly. So they are used to getting whatever they want. Everybody loves them like a celebrity and it gets to their head. They are used to believing they are well admired because everybody kisses their asses. |

This is true. But if women throw themselves at them constantly, why the need to go after women who work for them who clearly are not interested? That is where the need for control and power come in. They need to feel they can control and dominate those who aren't interested. It's no fun for them if the woman is willing.
