Why bother with the lies?

"We don't want people to be able to vote in a fair election because we can't win unless we get to cheat" is something they've already openly admitted and their stupid followers have no problem with that being the answer.

I think this link fits this thread just fine.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Bashes Biden for Bringing DOWN Gas Prices, Ted Lieu Claps Back Brilliantly

I'll say that that's a fair summation, really. As for specifics... MTG went after Biden's ability to release oil from the strategic reserve, because it helped the American people and Democrats helping the American people makes Americans more likely to vote Democrat. Therefore it was a political move and the President shouldn't have been allowed to do it.

Evil clown.

Correct. Biden only won due to massive voter fraud so Donald Trump is still really President.

And since third terms are not allowed I guess that means Trump can't run again unless he admits he lost last time.

Yeah, like he cares about those rules. When he was in office he said that his term should be extended several years to compensate for the "witch hunt" investigation.

No, because he was bilked out of his 2020-24 Presidential term he gets unlimited refills by way of compensation.

This about someone who is not quite a politician again, but the spirit is still there.

Wisconsin Supreme Court Candidate Is Trying to Open a Gun Range That Serves Alcohol

Not the only thing horrendously bad about the candidate, but, really, do you need to hear more? Ostensibly, there is policy in place to prevent alcohol/drunks from entering the gun range itself, which is nice and all. After the drinks, though, they'll still be ending up with guns right at hand, and everyone knows how responsible people can be after tossing back a few drinks.

FL again is proving it's idiocy. There's a bill to remove background checks, permits and gun training requirements for concealed carry.

Quote:
Florida has 2.6 million concealed weapons permits. And residents who receive a permit must have undergone firearms training, along with clearing a background check that shows they are not convicted felons or fall under a host of other restrictions.

The permitless carry approach backed by state Republican leaders doesn’t change current laws for buying a gun. But it would lift the need for a state permit with firearms training.

“I think we can assume that our citizens are going to do the right thing when it comes to carrying and bearing arms,” said Hernando County Sheriff Al Nienhuis, president of the Florida Sheriffs Association.
This kind of mentality is just so foreign to me. It's just sick, sick, sick.

Only 3,041 gun deaths in Florida in 2020. Surely we can trust citizens to do the right thing.

Nah, let them do it. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired of US gun debates. So let the stupid idiots kill each other with their gawd-given guns.

Oh, they might kill an innocent bystander? Looks like I'm just going to have to accept that that's the price the US public has to pay for these folks to keep the sacred Second Amendment. Too bad for those innocent people. But their families can sleep well knowing their rights have been retained.

Needless to say but necessary for some:

I don't know of any like that here, but several bars have axe-throwing pits. I don't see how drinking and axe-throwing can go wrong!

On some, IIRC, foodie show, I recall some pub with knife throwing lanes. Seen some of the ax footage as well elsewhere.
I'd think the knives far more likely to bounce all the way back (like darts occasionally do) than the axes.

I actually did axe throwing at a brewery last month. If you're as bad at it as I was, the axe can and does bounce back past the thrower.

I don't see a problem with drive-thru liquor sales. I drive to the grocery store and pick up my stuff, sometimes beer included, without leaving the car. Well I do get out and talk to the person unloading so I don't feel like a jerk, and I tip sometimes.

I don't know what to say about the GOP that hasn't already been said. They're ridiculous.

Trump Jr. has the solution for the Chinese balloon Biden allowed to spy on us: Montanans can just shoot it down with their AR-15's.

Seems like a Republican thing, because apparently a bunch of other (R) idiots suggested much the same. It was only a number of miles out of range, but since when has reality ever done much to encroach on their posturing?

How may ways is this just stupid? This is a perfect example of the GOP's unnecessary but habitual, self-serving fearmongering.

Quote:
House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY) told Fox News’s Harris Faulkner on Friday that he is concerned the federal government does not know what is in the Chinese spy balloon flying high over the U.S. – wildly speculating there could even be “bioweapons” in the balloon.
Quote:
“My concern is that the federal government obviously doesn’t know what’s in that balloon. Is that bioweapons, weapons in that balloon? Did that balloon take off from Wuhan? We don’t know anything about that balloon. But the fact that this balloon was slowly making its way to the United States for several days and this administration never alerted anyone about the possibility of this balloon coming up, I think it is very concerning. It’s very concerning. They didn’t shoot it out of the air before it even reached the continental United States,” Comer added.

Notably, the balloon crossed into the continental U.S. from Canada and flew over Montana – meaning the U.S. would have had to shoot it down over Canadian airspace.

“Oh, Chairman, let me stop you there. What do you mean, never alerted anyone? You mean people on Capitol Hill were not being briefed, national security briefings about this giant object in the sky?” Faulkner followed up.

“No one on the House Oversight Committee. Now, I don’t know about the Intelligence Committee with the Senate or the House, but I can tell you the overwhelming majority of the members of Congress that I’ve spoken to in the last 24 hours had no idea about this,” Comer replied, concluding:

So this administration, again, is the least transparent administration in the history of America. This is very concerning. Unless China is working with the Biden administration to help find some of those missing documents that are scattered all over the United States, then this is unacceptable and this should not be allowed. And again, another sign of weakness on the international stage by our commander in chief.
The last paragraph is a classic example of the GOP agenda to disparage Biden in any way they possibly can...even if they have to make themselves look like idiots doing so. They hypocrisy in that paragraph is mind-boggling.

I think you misunderstand the nature of the liquor on sale. Imagine a frozen margarita in a plastic cup. It technically isn't an open container because the straw is on the side.

Ted Cruz demonstrates what a pathetic POS he is once again criticizing the shooting down of the Chinese balloon. His Tweet:

Quote:
"Good.

Absolutely the right thing to do.

But Biden should have done it BEFORE the Chinese spy balloon went across the entire country.

And Xi knows damn well that Biden wouldn’t have had the guts to shoot down the CCP balloon if people in Montana hadn’t taken pictures of it.
MORON!

Not where I live. Maybe you're thinking of food stands or restaurants?

I've never seen anything like that at a liquor store, only sealed cans or bottles which are very easy to open anyways. Liquor stores don't dispense margaritas or anything in open containers, certainly not where I live.

It is super easy to drive up to a store, buy a beer, get in your car and open it. It might even take longer in a drive-thru. What's the difference?

How did this get brought up I forgot

And the stupid just keeps on coming.....
Quote:
Senate Intelligence Committee Vice Chairman Marco Rubio said that the Chinese spy balloon appearance was purposefully planned to appear in U.S. airspace just days ahead of Secretary of State Antony Blinken's trip to China to derail the plans.

The Florida Republican claimed Sunday morning that the now infamous spy balloon was a message to the world from Beijing that they do not view the U.S. as a mega-power anymore.

Trump insisted the reported instance during his presidency did not occur, claiming it's disinformation from Biden.

'This never happened. It would have never happened,' Trump told Fox while claiming Beijing 'respected us greatly' under his leadership.

'It never happened with us under the Trump administration and if it did, we would have shot it down immediately,' Trump said. 'It's disinformation.'
[/quote]

Uh-oh:

Quote:
The comments come amid new revelations that another Chinese spy balloon crashed into the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Hawaii four months ago, and officials told Fox News that at least one other flew over portions of Texas and Florida during former President Donald Trump's time in office.
I guess these GOP morons think the balloon should have been shot down over a populated area endangering people on the ground AND chancing the equipment being damaged beyond analysis.
