One of the more prominent Q-Nuts who went to a rally in Dallas just passed from Covid. On the bright side, the host of the "Re-Awaken America" event has clarified: Clark has denied the anthrax rumors and insisted in an interview with The Daily Beast: “There was not anthrax through the fog machines!”

Yeah, and he said this.

Quote:
Kuzma reported that he was feeling ill, but claimed it was just his chronic bronchitis flaring up again. On December 15 he posted on Facebook that he had a fever and said it was time to call the doctor.

Someone commented that he should get a COVID test anyway, but Kuzma responded: “No way.” When the commenter said it was better to be “safe than sorry,” Kuzma once again lashed out, writing: “You must have lost your mind, so they can kill me, and try and give me the jab. I’ll die at the house before I go to the hospital.”
Well, he was wrong about that, among other things.

A lawmaker in Indiana walked back comments saying teachers should be 'impartial' when teaching students about Nazism

Quote:
An Indiana state senator walked back comments he made saying teachers should be "impartial" when teaching about Nazism.

State Sen. Scott Baldwin was criticized for the comments he made during a committee hearing on Wednesday about a proposed bill that would limit how schools can discuss concepts like race. The bill is part of a wave of legislation proposed by conservative lawmakers largely in response to concerns over critical race theory.
Quote:
"I'm not discrediting, as a person, Marxism, Nazism, fascism," he said. "I have no problem with the education system providing instruction on the existence of those isms. I believe that we've gone too far when we take a position on those isms."

"We need to be impartial," he continued. "We need to be the purveyors of reason. We just provide the facts. The kids formulate their own viewpoints."
Guess we revealed a bit too much about ourself, huh guy? Meanwhile, you don't want teachers teaching the facts about racism in the U.S.

GOP Senate candidate Herschel walker says he has a dry mist cure for COVID. On a Glenn Beck podcast:

Quote:
“Do you know right now, I have something that [you can bring] into a building, that will clean you of COVID, as you walk through this, this dry mist?” Walker asks.

Beck, processing this information, squints. Walker interprets this as an invitation to proceed.

“As you walk through the door, it will kill any COVID on your body,” he continues. He leans in and adds, “EPA-, FDA-approved.”

“When you leave—it will kill the virus as you leave, this here product,” Walker says. He adds that he has a second unspecified miracle product, a “spray” possibly indicated for use after the dry mist treatment.

“They don’t want to talk about that. They don’t want to hear about that,” Walker says. “And I’m serious.”
Walker is also accused of killing two women, but was endorsed by Mitch McConnell anyway.

Mitch, apparently, had concerns about this guy, but endorsed him anyway. I wonder if Mitch had ulterior motives (well...he always does ) because Walker is "of a darker hue"?

According to GOP Senator Tommy Tuberville, we were fighting to “free Europe of socialism."

As the Nazis were fascists, not socialists, I guess we weren't. Silly me.

Patriotic Americans like Fred Koch, who was selling oil refinement technology to the Nazis and then the Soviets.

This might be a bit... embarrassing.

But then again, its a republican, which means they have no shame....

From: Insider
An old video has surfaced of Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul telling an auditorium of students that he would occasionally spread misinformation, calling it a "great tactic."...Paul then described how he and some classmates would spread misinformation to students they viewed as competitors and send them down the wrong path during exam prep...."That's my advice, misinformation works," Paul said.

(A representative for Rand Paul used the "he was only joking" defense. Despite the fact that his rhetoric seems rather detailed/extensive for a "joke".)

A Democrat won a US House seat this week with 79 percent of the vote. Her GOP opponent has not conceded.

Unfortunately that's pay-walled to me.

Is the lack of concession down to a mere administrative error or discourtesy, or is the Republican alleging that voter fraud was responsible for her victory ?

Oops sorry meant to post an alternative link.

It's that general "denialism" is now the default Republican method of losing an election. It's going to be the think they always do.

Apparently, the new normal for Republican election practices. Taking a page from Donnie.

I wouldn't be surprised if they start claiming any day now that the 2022 and 2024 elections were, not will be, rigged.

This would appear to be most of the basis for all of the voter suppression legislation in red states. Just like Donnie, start early so that the lies have time to set in. "Of course the elections were stolen! Why else would we need these Republican Voter Integrity Bills? We have to stop the Communist Democrats." or some other such nonsense.

Makes me crazy just trying to keep with it. Which is, probably, also part of the plan. "Those crazy democrats!"

In their eyes, any election a Democrat wins is rigged. Hell, any election in which a Democrat is allowed to vote is rigged.

Aristotle, so far as I know, was the first man to proclaim explicitly that man is a rational animal. His reason for this view was one which does not now seem very impressive: it was, that some people can do sums. - Bertrand Russell

The EPA and FDA wouldn't approve a single product. Products that kill microorganisms in or on living humans and animals are regulated as drugs by the FDA. Products that kill microorganisms anywhere other than living people and animals are regulated as pesticides by the EPA. Completely different regulations and requirements. It's similar to how products applied to unprocessed produce are regulated by the EPA and products applied to processed produce are regulated by the FDA.
In any case, I'm sure he wouldn't mind providing the EPA Registration Number or the FDA National Drug Code so people can research this product for themselves. Right?.

Oh dear me.

Glenn Beck said he didn’t need the vaccine – now he’s very sick with COVID and taking ivermectin
