There is no irony meter strong enough to handle that without exploding.

From your link, it's not only the Moron Trumper from Georgia:
"Republican Rep. Andy Biggs, the current chair of the right-wing House Freedom Caucus, appeared last week at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) and also explored some of the goals he’d like to see his party prioritize if they’re in the majority next year — particularly when it comes to law enforcement. “There are things you can do,” the Arizonan said, reflecting on Congress’ power. Biggs added, “You start defunding some of these bad agencies. The FBI. The DOJ.” That this is coming from supporters of the POS who actively and openly tried to use the DOJ and FBI as his personal policing force is jaw dropping but not surprising. |

Pretty certain they have absolutely zero idea what the word "defund" actually means, and what such an action implies. I wouldn't leave them alone with a knife and fork (they could harm themselves), let alone allow them to drive a car (they could harm others). And as for being competent government employees...perhaps not (they could harm the country).

Searching through my old posts, because I know this has come up before ... It's the verbal equivalent of a cargo cult. Invoke the magic words used by "the other side" to try to produce the same effect, regardless of whether they're appropriate in the context or their meaning is understood. We saw it with "DefundTheMedia", claiming that questions about vaccination status "violate HIPPA", and accusations of "unmasking" Tucker Carlson. |

We're ramping up election ads bigtime in my area and "I will never defund the police!" is said, verbatim, in like all of the Republican and at least one Democrat ad, as said with no context just the word "defund" put out there with obvious "scare cord" connotations.

Lix CHaney will almost certainly lose.
MJG is now the most famous single GOP woman in congress. The GOP can go to hell. I think it eventually will, question is how much damage will it do in the meantime. |

As much as Madge's malaprops, misconceptions and meanderings are grist with which to grift her imbecilic constituency, she still finds time to demonstrate just how unfit she is to hold any public office besides interstate rest area commode cleaner.
