Wonder if this was what the GOP wanted the takeaway to be, or if they just wanted vague allegations of unfairness?

Republicans in general, and Trump in particular, watched the Hunter Sex Tapes and realized that their own dicks where tiny in comparison.
hence the desperation to lock Hunter up.

But he can't say it was Hunter, because he is blind. 5 Hunter Biden just happens to store the emails that prove something about "big guy" as well as his porn tapes on this discarded laptop. 6 THIS WILL START impeachement in 2023 as it only requires a majority in the house to start. How soon till laptop committee?

Ron Johnson is all fired up to prosecute Hunter.
Quote:
When Todd pressed him on the fact that he’d just targeted Hunter Biden repeatedly, Johnson simply changed subjects all together.

“Part of the problem, and this is pretty obvious to anybody watching this, is you don’t invite me on to interview me. You invite me on to argue with me,” Johnson complained. “[Conservatives] were suppressed. [Conservatives] were censored. [The FBI] interfered in the 2020 election. Conservatives understand that. Unfortunately, liberals and the media don’t. And part of the reasons are our politics are inflamed, is we do not have an unbiased media. We don’t. It’s unfortunate. I’m all for a free press.”

“Look, you can go back on your partisan cable cocoon and talk about media bias all you want,” Todd shot back. “I understand it’s part of your identity.”

I forget, is Johnson the stupidest man in Congress or is it Louie Gohmert? Paul Gosar might’ve been in the running, but it appears more that he just has about a dozen screws loose, and that’s not necessarily related to stupidity.

Johnson is definitely in the top five. The ranking itself is fluid and fluctuates. Maybe I should make that the "top six" since Santos' swearing in.

Fun fact: Santos actually invented the laptop, so has a Hunter Biden connection.

Hunter striking back.

Hunter Biden calls for criminal probes into effort to ‘weaponize’ laptop contents

Quote:
Biden signed a contract with Mac Isaac, which included a policy stating that if the laptop was not picked up within 90 days, it would become Mac Isaac’s property, according to the repair shop owner’s book. Mac Isaac writes that Biden never came back for the laptop.

But by his own account, Mac Isaac said he went through files on Hunter Biden’s laptop the day after it was dropped off. In his book, Mac Isaac said the day after Hunter Biden dropped off the laptop, he noticed a file titled “income.pdf” in the hard drive, which apparently tracked Biden’s finances.

Sounds interesting.

January done. Yet another month that Hunter Biden laptop fails to appear. It's been around what, 4-5 years now?
Quote:
Despite the appearances, Lowell argues that Wednesday's letters do not constitute an admission of the laptop's validity. Biden's legal team says the versions of the laptop released to the public may have been tampered with.

"These letters do not confirm Mac Isaac’s or others’ versions of a so-called laptop," Lowell told Fox News Digital. "They address their conduct of seeking, manipulating and disseminating what they allege to be Mr. Biden’s personal data, wherever they claim to have gotten it."

The DOJ did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

I'm not quite sure how this fits in with the current discussion but The Washington Post has looked at the released e-mails and concludes that they do not show any access to clandestine briefings on secret materials.

Laptop email suggests Hunter Biden read newspapers, not classified documents

This dude has a book? The computer shop owner has a book about the Hunter laptop thingy?

I mean of course he does. George Carlin was right, America is a giant shopping mall where everything and everyone is for sale.

GOP to start on hard drive...without a hard drive:
Quote:
“We’re going to start with the hard drive because there’s a lot of evidence on the hard drive that suggests Joe Biden knew very well what his family was involved in," Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., the Oversight chairman, told reporters last month. "We want to make sure that our national security isn’t compromised because China is an adversary right now."

Well you could shave you head, but from working in OR and recognizing those kinds of head covers, it's to keep the hairs that fall out from getting all over everything.

Ah...that makes sense. When my mom went through chemo, she never lost her hair. She bought a wig, but never had to use it.

Apparently Little Steven, known to most from Lillehammer, gave him the bandana.
Quote:
When congressman Jamie Raskin began wearing bandanas while enduring cancer treatments, he credited E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt, and his signature scarves, for his new look. Van Zandt has now taken Raskin's fashion options a step further and gifted the Maryland Democrat a bandana.

"You are about to see a step up in my chemo head-cover fashions for the next few months," Raskin tweeted, alongside a photo of him donning his new bandana.

I believe Congress has rules of conduct and wearing a hat dur official business is considered disrespectful. I don’t know if that applies to everyone or just men, but it is a holdover from days gone by.

Looks like hunter Biden is continuing to go on the offensive, with letters sent to various people (e.g. Giuliani, Stone, Bannon, the owner of the repair shop) telling them to keep records related to his laptop in case he launches a lawsuit for releasing private information.
