This is such a great quote. The Truth Movement is political masturbation with no intent to make a difference in the real world. An investigative journalists will follow leads whereas the TM will make youtube videos in their basements. They embrace powerlessness as the quote says, choosing to believe the world is controlled by mysterious, all powerful, elite and fictitious organizations.

I'm glad you chose to change your username. "Dictator Cheney" is highly inaccurate and misrepresentative of any real situation and dilutes the meaning of the term dictator when used against individuals with real totalitarian tendencies.

I hate Noam Chomsky. He actually compared slavery to porn as if it's valid analogy. I don't know how many slave masters went out in the field to pleasure themselves to Kunte Kinte.

James and I used to joke that we would never get back into the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy with all the praising we did of Chomsky, Monbiot, and Cockburn for their debunking efforts on the "Truthers".
