There really isn't any reason to assume that he doesn't.

This one just happened to be related to the Stormy case, which provided an opening for discovery.

If I was Cohen, I would not be looking at the administration, I'd be asking whether someone on Mueller's team is feeding Avenatti info.

Who da thunk that this porn star and this NDA would pose such a huge problem for Trump? Avenatti is cleaning the President's clock. Cohen is going to prison if he doesn't flip on Trump. That's a given.

Actually he said more than that, but I am certain that you would agree that if he got them through a subpoena, it would make no sense at all to claim that they were work product.

Everyone knows that Mueller already has this stuff, right? And that they already interviewed the drug maker, and that they referenced this in an open hearing a few weeks ago?

All that Avenatti is doing is grandstanding on Mueller's parade ground.

And look how many people think Cohen is going have to go to prison? How is going to get a fair trial if the Government and maybe even Mueller's team are leaking information to a thirsty attention whore who makes a splashy press conference?

And if Mueller's team is involved, well then maybe we ought to take a long hard look at exactly what is going on with him, huh?

/ and by "we' I mean the Deputy AG, whoever that may be....

We don't know a damn thing about this, so stop pretending that you do. Also, please stop with the faux outrage. It is silly.

Then they clearly were not stolen and leaked to him, because unlike Cohen, Avenatti is not a **** lawyer.

Again, you have any EVIDENCE to back up these claims ?

I'm guessing no, feel free to prove me wrong.

This is an absolute riot. "Investigate the people doing the investigating because their investigation is making my orange messiah look extremely stupid and careless." Amazing you weren't this vehemently opposed to the investigation on Hillary, where no crimes were charged. Yet, here we have mounds of clear cut evidence and you're screaming about some leaks?

Nice. I love that your confirmation bias never shows.

If "Thirsty" is having a 3 ring circus, how many rings does Trump's circus have? Why are you so consistently against laying any of the blame on Trump or his cretins?

Because any blame on Trump is "Fake News", per the Donald Tweet Dictionary (abridged... definition of cofveve still pending)

I, of course, did, twice.

Not sure why I bother, but Oh well.

I'd like AT&T to cough up some paperwork, a consultant's report or something that they paid for.

Stockholders should be concerned money just goes out like that. What's to stop embezzling?

That doesn't make the documents 'stolen. But hey, why don't we pay attention to the steak and not the peas?

The transactions have been CONFIRMED. And suspicious doesn't begin to describe them.

Somebody fill me in. Who the hell is Thirsty? I can't make any logical connection between that moniker and any of the players in this story.

Avenetti Recklessly Exposes Financial Records

Cohen's team has reached out to Judge Kimba Woods arising out of Avenatti's reckless conduct, which includes exposing the financial records other other people named Michael Cohen.

It appears that wherever Avenatti improperly got his information.

Here is a tweet that contains a portion of the letter...

https://twitter.com/KlasfeldReports/...40805149102080

Recall that not too long ago Thirsty erroneously claimed that Cohen's phones were tapped.

"We have no reason to believe that Mr. Avenatti is in lawful possession of these bank records. If Mr. Avenatti wishes to be admitted pro hac vice before this Court, he should be required to explain to this Court how he came to possess and release this information."

From Cohen's lawyers this afternoon.

Gotta think that Kimba Wood is not going to be as enamored of Avenatti's grandstanding and improper commentary on pretrial publicity as others.

They put the issue of just where he got those documents front and center.

Did Avenatti just break the law by exposing those illegally obtained bank records?

Avid readers will no doubt be curious just where he got those, and I am hopeful Kimba Wood will be...

/by the way, he just totally derailed Stormy's motion to intervene....

This might also put the square in Thirsty's attempt to appear in Kimba Wood's courtroom:

https://www.documentcloud.org/docume...Complaint.html

Yikes, been a pretty rough 24 hours.

Hopefully the Judge can put a muzzle on him before he completely embarrasses himself.

Uh oh, too late, cat's out of the bag!

Embarrass himself? You so funny. Cohen was selling access to the President. Paid $1.2
million dollars by Novartis Your boy is so far under the bus that all his lawyers can do is whine.

He was being paid by AT&T also, access too?

You realize there are thousands of people in Washington doing the same thing?

There are a lot of registered Lobbyists in DC, but I don't think Cohen is one of them. Besides, even by DC standards it is more than a little odd that that millions of dollars from Russian and American corporations are going into a company that only seems to exist on paper, and going out to pay off mistresses, at least one of whom is claiming to have had sex with the President...

The Russian company claims it hired Cohen as a consultant “regarding potential sources of capital and potential investments in real estate and other ventures.”

Good thing they didn't claim they hired him for legal work, because then Cohen would have had to name them in court, correct?
