Gallup just gave us the highest rating ever for the way we are handling the CoronaVirus situation. The April 2009-10 Swine Flu, where nearly 13,000 people died in the U.S., was poorly handled. Ask MSDNC & lightweight Washington failure @RonaldKlain, who the President was then?

We have appointed 220 Federal Judges and two Supreme Court Justices. PROMISES MADE, PROMISES KEPT!

The WALL is well under construction. So far we’re up to 129 miles, and by early next year we will have 500 miles completed!

With approximately 100,000 CoronaVirus cases worldwide, and 3,280 deaths, the United States, because of quick action on closing our borders, has, as of now, only 129 cases (40 Americans brought in) and 11 deaths. We are working very hard to keep these numbers as low as possible!

White House concedes US lacks enough test kits

Quote:
The White House has acknowledged the nation does not have enough coronavirus test kits as cases of the disease ticked upwards on both US coasts.

Vice-President Mike Pence said the Trump administration would not be able to meet its objective of delivering one million testing kits this week.

Watching Trump’s town hall on Fox News.
After seeing so much of the Democrat clowns stumbling, bumbling, evading and pandering, it’s amazing to watch Trump sit up there and directly answer questions. He’s concise, authoritative and funny.

Trump says maybe U.S. will have a president for life 'someday'

Quote:
President Donald Trump says he thinks it’s great that China’s president now holds that office for life and muses that maybe the U.S. will do the same someday.

Trump’s remarks were met with laughter and applause during a luncheon for Republican donors Saturday at his South Florida estate. CNN said it obtained a recording of the remarks.
Quote:
Trump told the gathering: “He’s now president for life. President for life. And he’s great.” Trump added, “I think it’s great. Maybe we’ll give that a shot someday.”

I recall reading years ago that she planned to follow the Rehnquist model--ie, being on the court until she drops dead. This is not something she's doing reluctantly.

Supreme Court terms should be limited to...let's say 18 years, with two appointments per presidential term.

Trump called Neo-Nazis "fine people" and his approval rating was not significantly affected.

Trump was impeached for trying to extort a foreign country to interfere in the U.S. election, and his approval rating was not significantly affected.

I recognize that sometimes we meaning people can have differences in political philosophy, but there comes a point where a politician can be so reprehensible that a "reasonable person" could not support them. Trump has reached that point. I do think that people who continue to support him do have some sort of flaw in their intelligence.

Why would Senator Sessions sometimes breaking ranks give President Trump nightmares?
Because Trump and Moscow Mitch wouldn't be able to depend on the republicans falling in line to support whatever laws or confirmations they want to pass. Republicans want to confirm Ted Bundy to be the next supreme court justice? Sessions might just say no just to spite trump. Want to try another health care repeal? Again, he might just vote no.

(Note that this is just a theoretical scenario, which would depend on trump being re-elected but with a reduced majority in the Senate, neither one of which is assured.)

It's that moment in every troll's lifecycle where they try too hard.

It is FAKE NEWS that @HHSGov @SecAzar is “sidelined” from the great job he is doing on the CoronaVirus Task Force. He has the total confidence of the @VP and myself, and is doing a fantastic job, as the numbers would indicate!
Now I am convinced that Azar will be gone within a couple of weeks, given the fate of most of the others Trump has denied he has sidelined.

I had assumed she would be willing to have her seat filled by the first female president's nomination, but that wouldn't surprise me. Thomas has said he wants to set the record as the longest-serving Justice in the Court's history.

Supreme Court terms should be limited to...let's say 18 years, with two appointments per presidential term.
Absolutely. I wouldn't even mind if the 18-year term were renewable. Someone comes in under Reagan and then Bush Jr. chooses to renominate the coffin-dodger. Of course, it would almost never happen, which demonstrates the inanity of having someone sit on the bench for three-plus decades.

Trump, CDC appearance. He said experts were telling him to take sick Americans off a cruise ship but he doesn't want to do it because it WILL MAKE THE NUMBERS GO UP and he shouldn't because "wasn't our fault."

Sorry colonial cousins, you are all going to die!

So you have a link? I can find no reports on the visit, only reports that it was back on after initially being canceled. Unsurprisingly, the WH's stated reason for canceling the visit did not agree with what Trump said. Let me see if I can muster up some surprise.....

nope.

All these doctors say, 'how do you know so much about this?' Maybe I have a natural ability, maybe I should have done this instead of running for president.
