Why Bermas is alright, and why conspiracies breed
Bermas is alright.. out of the 3 loose changers, I dont think he has ever said anything outstandingly in bad taste... his "firefighters were paid off" was a bit insanely insensitive, but on the hardfire debate I felt sorry for the bloke, grinning off Gravy's well timed mention of his 'apology' you could tell he was very uncomfortable..
The boy really does believe in this conspiracy, and he is in it neither for fame or money, he simply seemingly finding a father figure in alex jones, proven by his often calls of saying "My good friend Alex Jones". Bermas simply does not want to accept the random, pointless, meaningless reality of existence, in which people kill "Just Cos" and have no big, massive motive (Oswald). A world in greys instead of black and whites.. and which "adagio for strings" resonds at the depth of all human nature. When Gravy said "Yes, but the passengers told us" (About the ruthless nature of the hijackers) Bermas was all edgy again.. A moment of reality he simply wants to escape.. It seems to me conspiracy theorists simply want to escape this cold, pointless world, and appeals to mostly agnostic types, who have found no God, so want to attatch this "meaning", this "purpose" in the world rather then the afterlife.. And is defined in the first word of their most famous theory: Controlled demolition... |

Hmmmm. We seem to have differing opinions. I see him as a raging lunatic who LOVES the attention and could care less that he is profiting off of the deaths of thousands. He has no sympathy for the victims (along with all of the other woos) and needs to be put in a mental facility.

I can only repeat what I wrote soon after the debates. I found Jason very affable. Sadly, he really buys all of the fantasist silliness. Dylan struck me as more cynical. It's just an impression, one that I can't hope to transform into any sort of proof, but my impression was that he intends to ride the copnspiracy wave to fame and fortune. |

And later in the loose change vanity video, someone approaches him and tells him to keep up the good work and that the person is "a liberal like you". Jason responds by laughing, and saying something along the lines, of "Yeah, ha, I'm a liberal. Whatever, here's a DVD." These boys love the fame. This is why they are so dead stuck on this. |

Welcome Walrus.
With all due respect, if Bermas is "all right," what would someone have to do to be considered "all wrong" in your eyes? Keep in mind that his way of "apologizing" to the firefighters was to claim, not that they are being paid off to keep silent, but that they've bowed to threats to keep silent. That's disgusting. Too bad Gravy can't back up his positions with citations.
![]() Undesired Walrus, how 'bout fixing the tags for this thread by replacing "seems" with something more useful. |

Dylan in his house on the BBC Conspiracy Files reminded me of MTV Cribs..."aaaand this is where the magic happens".

I'd like to see Louis Theroux interview Bermas.. that would be priceless. And Paxman do Avery.

oh, and by the way, [rule8] you for implying that I can't experience the Adagio for Strings in all its poignancy without falling for Bermas' woo. Samuel Barber just looked down from heaven and told me to say that.

Think you misunderstood me.. I meant Bermas doesn't want to admit that Adagio for Strings is the underlining song playing throughout all of histories tragedies, whether they be Iraq, Vietnam, The Elephant Man, or 9/11.
What is not playing is an upbeat hip-hop soundtrack. Unfortunatly Bermas thinks it is. |

Dylan and Jason are smart enough to keep Korey around as a defense against the charge that they are anti-American, and not foolish enough to let him represent them in any forum where he's going to get tough questions. Anybody remember his disastrous appearance on Opie and Anthony, where he finally had to hand off the phone to Bermas?

Instead of starting a thread on the topic, can I ask a question?
When Jones and such say that a majority of the victims support a new investigation, are they also those who support an inside job? |
