You're looking at the wrong cartoons. Their proper use was discerned immediately.

She just quoted Alan Moore in a tweet.

That... is pretty cool. Not sure if there was ever a rep I would have even guessed would do that.

Twitter just about lost its minds over the Watchmen reference she dropped.

The Onion delivers as Usual:

Fox News announced Wednesday the debut of a new premium television channel that will offer continuous, around-the-clock updates on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). “For an extra $8.99 per month, you’ll have an all-access pass to the AOC Zone, which features wall-to-wall coverage of every word Ocasio-Cortez utters, as well as in-depth analysis of her wardrobe and any videos we’re able to dig up from her college days,”

It's because she scares people, as in, "People were actually stupid enough to vote for this loon? What if they vote in more?"

It is a scary thought.

Oh puhllleeeease. AOC isn't a loon. She's highly intelligent and significantly more articulate than Trum could ever dreamed to be. In my entire life, I've never seen anyone with high government job sound half as stupid as Trump does daily. But hey, good luck with portraying AOC as a loon.

You know what's scarier than that? People were actually stupid enough to vote for Trump. Even if Ocasio-Cortez were twice the loon you are desperately trying to paint her as, she's nowhere near the downright blithering idiot that Trump is. Nor can she cause anything close to the damage to the country that he can. Odd, how some conservatives can write multi-page screeds about why they would vote for that idiot, but can't come up with one coherent and verifiable reason not to vote for AOC, though.

I can empathize with how you're feeling.

Those were exactly my thoughts when the Tea Party/Right Wing extremist types took over the GOP. And, lo and behold, they did vote in more.

And yet, you're unwilling and/or unable to quote her words that justify your comments, despite repeated requests. 200 proof rant.

A re-reminder to refresh your memory.

I don't find her at all scary

I love her enthusiasm, her raw passion for her beliefs and her no-nonsense approach. But then, I'm not a privileged Old White Man member of the Republican Party, like Lindsay Graham or "Mitch" (where is he by the way?).

I can fully understand how they might feel threatened by her, she doesn't need to have social media like Instagram and Facebook explained to her, and she doesn't take crap from these Old Farts.

AOC, and people like her, are the new face of politics, they will eventually sweep the old guard aside, and sooner than you might think.

Imagine being so deluded that you look at AOC and think "she's a loon", and then turn to look at Trump and think "yeah, this guy deserves my support".

What planet do these people live on?

Then you might get a fraction of tiny percentage of what rational people feel about Trump and the Freedom Caucus being elected.

Of course, your fear is completely and laughably unjustified, but hey, righties thrive and depend on fear.

Yes, we get it. You don't like her. You find her crazy and scary.

Now that you've repeatedly made that clear, either demonstrate why you think so, or don't, but you don't need to tell us the above again.
