Congratulations to Navy Seal Eddie Gallagher, his wonderful wife Andrea, and his entire family. You have been through much together. Glad I could help!

Plenty of cultures over history have derided the bottom in male homosexual activity. The Norse used it as a literal killing insult: if someone called you that you had to kill them or else it would be recognized as true and you'd be killed yourself. While simultaneously there was no insult implied at all to the top in the encounter. The crime wasn't in the homosexuality, it was in a male being the receptive partner because that was womanlike. A great deal of homophobia is actually just misapplied misogyny. It's an interesting subject, a sociocultural phenomenon rooted just as much in psychology as in history. It would be naive to think homophobia and its cultural manifestations, conscious and unconscious, would fade away overnight due to recent liberalization.

Nevertheless there are some manifestations that are pretty obvious, especially when they've been pointed out. Use or eschew them as you will, but don't expect to evade criticism.
My intent was to insinuate he likes being a prostitute.

Sure it was. And what's wrong with that, anyway? Everyone would be lucky to enjoy their work. Or do you just disapprove of sex work? Seems more like honest work than inheriting capital and getting into real estate. If you could prove Trump turned tricks for money he'd go up in my estimation. It would show more gumption, imagination, and dedication than I've hitherto credited him.

He had been considering pardoning him, but decided to wait until after the trial to make his final decision. He probably feels he influenced the verdict.

I do believe the POTUS "influencing" a deliberating jury might be considered jury tampering...

After his last batch of nominations for the Federal reserve board flamed out, Trump seems to be doubling down, at least for one of the nominations.
https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/trump-pi...licy-1.1281771
Quote:
In her interview with Bloomberg in May, Shelton questioned the use of the Fed’s basic interest-rate tool to adjust the price of money, and thereby guide an economy toward a sustainable level of growth.

“A Fed that is too eager to artificially put in an interest rate that isn’t close to what the market would be suggesting is not so good,” she said at the time. “I would try to be the voice saying, are you sure you know better than the markets?”
This falls under not even wrong. The market determines interest rates based on supply and demand for money. Not only is it the Feds job to manage money supply, it’s can’t not manage the money supply. Every decision it makes impacts money supply. Even the decision to “not get involved” would affect the money supply. Even if the Fed were to return to a Gold Standard as Shelton has previously suggested, it would have an impact on money supply.

What the Fed does is use interest rates as a guide to the short term demand for money, and increases/decreases the supply accordingly. With supply and demand matched interest rates are stable at that level.

This parade sort of validates Stormy Daniel's claim that Trump is really minuscule in the manhood department. Tanks??? Jesus, most people settle for a Porsche!

I'm beginning to consider that the dreaded "pee tape" is probably a whole lot of Russian escorts pissing themselves AT Trump, not on him.

But considering that he's been dedicated since 2011 to destroying or tarnishing everything President Obama ever touched, literally or figuratively, it's not really surprising.

Yea I could grudgingly in trumps case make noises about kinkshaming but, it is the personal pettiness and vindictiveness that seem so perfectly Trump about it.

So, add "operating costs" to the things Trump doesn't understand.

I really hope someone is writing down all of the campaign finance violations and inappropriate use of government property for electioneering communications going on around this stupid fireworks display.

ETA: Also potentially making military personnel have to choose between violating DOD ethics regulations and disobeying an order.

You are looking for coherence that is not there. The president is a lying imbecile and says whatever is convenient. He will even say contradictory things in the same breath.

Our Border Patrol people are not hospital workers, doctors or nurses. The Democrats bad Immigration Laws, which could be easily fixed, are the problem. Great job by Border Patrol, above and beyond. Many of these illegals aliens are living far better now than where they.....

.....came from, and in far safer conditions. No matter how good things actually look, even if perfect, the Democrat visitors will act shocked & aghast at how terrible things are. Just Pols. If they really want to fix them, change the Immigration Laws and Loopholes. So easy to do!

.....Now, if you really want to fix the Crisis at the Southern Border, both humanitarian and otherwise, tell migrants not to come into our country unless they are willing to do so legally, and hopefully through a system based on Merit. This way we have no problems at all!

If Illegal Immigrants are unhappy with the conditions in the quickly built or refitted detentions centers, just tell them not to come. All problems solved!

Mexico is doing a far better job than the Democrats on the Border. Thank you Mexico!

Don't you mean: Creepy Miller tweets?

Also, USA this is your president speaking for you. This is what he thinks about how immigration works and what should be done. He acknowledges the concentration-camp conditions on the border, absolves "his troops" from responsibility, and dumps the blame on someone else. You just cannot get less "presidential" than this. Happy Fourth of July, friends.

I just checked the weather forecast for DC tomorrow, and it said 92° F with a heat index of 100° F. Given Trump's general health, his tendency to ramble endlessly, and his love of hearing himself talk, maybe he'll pass out from the heat during his speech.

Oh, stop teasing me with happy fantasies!

I would hope that nobody shows up and the TV cameras broadcast that fact all in HD. Imagine even the VIP area only half full, and a few passers-by and bemused Japanese tourists looking on at this terminally-bewildered orange baby blimp rambling on. It would be a glorified version of Soapbox Corner.

I will be quite surprised if Blimp Trump stays inflated until its handlers pull it down after the permitted time.

Obviously, no one can get firearms close enough to have an effect. But I think someone will find a way to attack it.

Old Russian Joke No2

"Ring ring"
KGB Officer : "Hello KGB headquarters. How can I help you?"
Citizen : "My name is Yuri. My famous pet talking parrot, that can mimic anything he hears, went missing last night in a black car"
KGB Officer : "This is the KGB. Why did you ring us?
Citizen : "I just want to say that my parrot and I have very different political points of view".

Won’t the presidential dais have cold air blowing up on the president? Or am I being overly critical when I imagine the president’s demands for comfortability.
