No, I didn't. Obviously I can't base my opinion on something I haven't seen.

It comes across as feigned incompetence to me. He's capable much better work than what he's done in his PGF research. He's only as incompetent as he needs to be to avoid conceding a point to the skeptics.

Comparing any FX guy to Rick Baker is not really fair.

I'm sure that Bill Munns found a more stable income from teaching rather than contract work on films.

That's a good point. And actually my thoughts were meant more towards a mode of mediocrity than true incompetence, e.g. doing as little as possible, only what's absolutely necessary etc. when doing something. What I probably marvel at most is the balls it takes for one to know so little about something yet pretend they're the expert you've always needed. That's not a "costume effects guy" or an expert, that's just a hustler. Ghosts of Patterson?

Given his 'credentials' and seeming interest in Bigfoot, Bill Munns could never convince me there's a good reason he didn't build a Patty replica instead of doing the literal opposite, having only diarrhea of the mouth about it. If his goal was fame and fortune, and it was, he so chose the wrong (but far easier) path. Printing one's books up at the local Kinkos isn't quite the same as Spielberg's Hollywood, but maybe Munns only wanted a little fame and a little fortune?!

Yeah, more or less the same as not walking towards Bigfoot.

As with the dog that did not bark it is the things they do not do that tells the tale, sitting around a campfire and bigfoot throws candy and you do not investigate the very thing you came to investigate, taking real pictures of bigfoot and never again visiting the site, living with a family of bigfoot and never taking a picture all this paints a picture of avoiding bigfoot rather than searching for bigfoot.

Bigfoot investigations are defined by "not doing the obvious."

Because it is such a limp dick of a “report”?

I'd like to think that my post about the TheMunnsReport.com selling viagra pills, was the reason someone renewed it and brought it back.

But even if it was, no one would admit it. I've found they still hate me at BFF.

Anyway, the Munns Report is back up at it's normal location.
Enjoy!

I would like to get AlaskaBushPilot's response to Bill's attack on the JREF.

Drewbot. I'm not too familiar with this Munn guy other than his opinion that the PGF film is 99.999999999999999999999999 percent chance of being real. So in a nutshell, was he taking screenshots of comments here and threatening legal action for libel ? Just wow. How dare anyone be a critical thinker and question anyone like himself, Saint Gimlin, the corpse of RP, PP, Robert W Morgan, Moneybags, etc. etc. etc. most of whom profiteer from something totally unproven.

Bill Munns is a failed Hollywood make-up artist who has delusions of grandeur.
He saw Bigfooters as easy marks (he was right) and pulled a lot of cash from them and others in his long running scam.
I had him pegged as a fraudulent scammer about 2 weeks into his first posts at BFF and was the first to call him out.
Of course it is just my humble opinion that he is a scammer and my 7 years as a fraud investigator during my 20+ years in law enforcement probably has made me cynical.

Munns’ Schlick here was always a scam. He came here expecting to get validation of his “scientific” approach and slunk away when he realised so many people new how the scientific method worked.
His “photogrammetry analysis” was just farcical, and as evidence of his disingenuous engagement with (then) JREF, he never made any of the images he used for his “photogrammetry analysis” available for others to verify his work. A promise he made right at the outset and reneged on when he realised there were people at the Forum who actually had the capacity to perform photogrammetry.

His “book” on the whole process was mostly whining about JREF and attempting to bignote himself. His collaboration with Meldrum was equally amateurish and unscientific.
