My feeling about most -- not all -- but most trump supporters is, they're fed up, they think he's like them. Finally, someone in power who is as fed up as they are. They back him on everything. It seems to operate on the basis, 'You give me an explanation -- even a barely logical one -- for everything he does and says and I'll swear to my last breathe that I believe it 110%. Unless trump wants to change it. Then I'll swear to my last breathe I never believed it.'

All for a man who in private probably thinks most of his supporters are jerks. But his supporters are probably okay with that too.
