THOMAN MANZ, Native American Photographer

White Horse Christian Center in West Lafayette, Indiana is currently in the process of purchasing a 4 million dollar exhibition center which will become an international revival and outreach center to the nations. They are scheduled to close on the deal on August 31, 2003. As a member of White Horse Christian Center, and on behalf of them, I wish to enter the JREF One Million Dollar Paranormal Challenge with all of the prize money being awarded to the White Horse Christian Center upon successful completion of the tests.

The proposed test is to photograph the presence of objects in the air which occur during praise and worship activities using a video camera equipped to capture infrared photographs. These objects are generally invisible to the naked eye, but can be viewed by the use of infrared (IR) photography. The supernatural
origin of these infrared active objectswill be established by IR video photography during and not during worship activities and by establishing the IR active objects in the air occur only during worship activities. Normal video will be taken at the same time as the IR video for comparitive purposes to show the IR active objects occur in the air. The IR active objects do not have to have any particular shape, but they must be clearly visible and distinguishable in the IR video and their occurence must be firmly correlated to praise and worship activities. The IR video recorder will be a camcorder which has been modified to operate in a night vision mode by removal of its IR blocking filter and by placing an IR-pass visible blocking filter on the front of the camcorder to block visible light but allow IR light to pass. This allows the camcorder to record near infrared video images onto normal video cassettes.

I responded to this 2004 application with numerous questions regarding the claim and protocol proposal, but I never received any reply. Interestingly, the above-mentioned website sports a picture of Feynman and what appears to be a deep respect for the scientific method. I regret the fact that we never received a reply from this applicant. The test might have been enormously interesting.
