De Niro Sued For Abusing Employee And Being An All-Round ********

Poetic, I hope she wins (she has the ammunition/evidence) - I always suspected he was an AH.

It's about time a lot more hypocritical, liberal frauds are exposed for what they are.

I don't care for him or his acting but her claim could be total bullcrap for all I know. "He swore at me on the phone", sexually charged, unwanted contact.

The article mentions no real details and no laws broken so pffft - someone accuses you I guess you may as well consider yourself guilty.

Suing for 12 million. I'll make an early prediction that this doesn't get far. You never know but that's just my gut instinct on this one.

If this lawsuit dropped five years ago, most of the people celebrating it would describe the allegations as overly-sensitive, liberal-feminist, politically correct fascism (from a lazy, do-nothing employee).

Why only the hypocritical liberal frauds? Hypocritical conservative frauds should keep getting away with it?

The most over rated actor since Brando.

Probably a ****

I doubt 12 million will dent his account much

It should be noted that this is a counter-suit in response to De Niro’s Company suing Robinson for embezzlement, after she resigned suddenly and, by the looks of it, “under a cloud”.

ISF is begging to look more and more like Facebook with triggered, knee-jerk reactions to click-bait without first looking into the story in an OP.

I could be wrong about De Niro, but at least I checked the background before declaring him to be the next Harvey Weinstein.

How do you know she's telling the truth? Which laws were broken?

The skepticism is strong here today! Being a "dick" is against the law!

Yep. Great thread.

It sounds ridiculous. I do not see that she was abused. Who has never had a boss that used swear words? And, I don't have any interest in his life, beyond liking some of his movies.

.
Given the phrase "It's about time a lot more hypocritical, liberal frauds are exposed for what they are." is used by the OP we can see that is what they were going for.

The 19-page lawsuit also states that De Niro made jokes about his Viagra prescription and asked her to do supposedly stereotypical female duties, such as cleaning his apartment and mending his clothes.
He hired her as an assistant, right?

And never, ever joke about a Viagra prescription. That's just beyond the pale.

If you don't want to do "stereotypical female duties" maybe find another line of work.

The bastard! He actually expected his assistant to assist him! Off to the stocks I say!

I love the lynch mob mentality in this thread.
And I think that De Niro called Trump a few names is the real reason why a couple of the people in this thead are so happy about it.

Probably. He did look like a total moron doing it I think, and I don't like him partially for stooping to that low of a level level, but it doesn't affect my feeling in this matter. Sounds like a BS case to me, so far.

The usual lack of any ability to see things in perspective that I find to be the norm here.

Try to imagine recordings of, let me think ... Donald Trump speaking to a female aid the same way De Niro did to this woman.

The *********** sky would fall. Or at least, a multi-part thread on ISF would ensue.

Trump spoke about grabbing women by the pussy, ****** multiple porn stars\models while his pregnant wife sat at home, has publicly called Rosie every name in the book, and has accused women that even slightly speak up to him as "bleeding out of their 'whatever'".

If you thought you made a point here maybe everyone else isn't the problem.

Yeah, the OP motives are pretty clear.
He's angry because De Niro said bad things about Dear Leader.

Okay, so this is about Trump, is it? Yeah, thought so.

If it was to talk about yourself I.e. the ISF membership wouldn't community have been a better section to start your thread in? It would also probably have helped the discussion you wanted to have (about your membership here) to have mentioned that in your opening post.

Leaving that to one side.

What comment or point are you trying to make about "you" I.e. the members of the forum such as yourself?
