Wow.Just Wow.
CLark is facing live imprisonment on multiple Felony Charges. His trial should be interesting if he tries a Sovcit style defense...

Sometimes I wonder if the death penalty should be applied from head to toe, in reverse order.

First, cut off the left small toe. Last, cut off the head. In between? A deli meat slicer comes to mind. Maybe a wood chipper.

Fuelair has gotten around his suspension by hijacking theprestiges' account?

And yes, if true the guy is scum. They should force him to fight at the front line of the fire and clean up all the while in mannicles

It may be difficult to convict, as the only "evidence" is a tweet to the sheriff concerning burning the town. Of course we don't see all that the sheriff has and it could be a conviction. We shall see.

He doesn't look like the brightest spark. I bet he left more evidence, assuming he didn't do some bragging.

Oh they can't convict him he will simply state that he didn't consent to their forestry and fire laws. A few magic phrases and he'll walk free with a few million collected from his well printed fee menu.

Plus he will state this is all under Admiralty Law and this wasn't at sea, and his name was not written in CAPITAL LETTERS so he isn't that "person". And some other such nonsense, until a judge disabuses him of his silly notions and total realisation falls in on him.

I don't think they would have arrested him unless they had a lot more evidence then a tweet.

Arresting is not convicting, don't you agree?

Funny.

Also, people are often arrested in order to gather evidence and/or prevent loss of evidence.

Agreed, but you stated they arrested because of a tweet. I really doubt that was the only evidence they had.
Or are you just doing the Clarence Darrow "Attorney for the Damned" shtick.

Oh, this guy's a winner:

Yes, the prosecution will have to prove its case in court. Cal Fire and the state are very good at reconstructing the ignition sources for wild fires. If they have a case it will be solid.

I repeat, I doubt the prosecution would prosecute if they did not have a lot more evidence then that Tweet.
