We've definitely dodged one with already having sorted a holiday in Scottishland starting on Chucky's coronating day, as it appears that our neighbours are wanting to have a party on the joint garden area out front.

Carrot Flower queen managed to do better than I would have done in feigning disappointment that we will be sitting in a car heading for Jacobite territory.

The corned beef and cabbages display at Safeway is right next to the one with the gefilte fish and matzohs. But neither approaches the volume of the Easter candy.

Back somewhat on topic, I find myself wondering how many US cable and broadcast networks will be showing the coronation. I'd bet on at least six.

Canned Corned Beef in the US is pretty much the same.
Was nicknamed "Canned Willy" by US Doughboys in World War one, where it was a standard field ration.
It was the infamous Bully Beef used by the British Army in both world wars, US dropped it after World War one and replace it with..drum roll...Spam.
