The Doggerland Tsunami - Storegga Landslide

Look at the size of the Storegga Landslide compared to the British Isles.

This was the landslide that wiped out the mesolithic landscape of Doggerland in the North Sea.

Blimey, that's huge. Just a little more oomph and this tsunami could have taken out most of Norfolk. I think we have to see this as a missed opportunity.

It's not too late. Maybe this could be the big infrastructure project Britain needs to get the economy moving?
