I though of posting this in education, but . . .

Completely safe for work (unless the topic offends).

Complete with very fuzzy picture of such quality that it could easily be a picture of a bigfoot or maybe two bigfeet.

"Understanding the behavior of our cousins the great apes sheds light on the evolution of behavioral traits in our own species and our ancestors."
Does this give new meaning to the song by W.A.S.P. **** Like An Animal?

If you are interested in this, then comparisons of bonobos and chimps is very enlightening

especially about infanticide and game theory

I know about all some of that. It seems to be new info that the big guys are "doing it" too. Can we please blame the Internet? Thank you. :(

"This is actually a big discovery though as this is the first time that gorillas, our closest evolutionary relatives, have been seen having sex just as humans do, face to face."

D minus, bad reporter! Gorillas broke off from the line that gave rise to hominids earlier than Chimps did.

Still, it's pretty impressive they got the shot considering how little sex gorillas have.

Hey, anything that has 'gorilla' and 'sex' in the same sentence is sure to interest me ;)

Haven't we known for a long time that bonobos have sex face-to-face?

Cheers - Mattus

Even worse was the last line: "The trait of having sex face to face is now known not to be just for humans, our common ancestors do it too." Make that an E.
