I have not previously seen this footage and have not seen any discussion on jref, so I'm assuming this hasn't been previously well circulated. There is a lot of information here.

There are many interesting features of this video, some that I imagine will be interpreted quite differently, which I am very much interested in. I just request that before posting you view the video with your civil feedback. There's a lot to discuss and I have my opinions, but I'm withholding my observations until I hear some of the other perspectives on the footage.

The one thing I will say is that I'm always struck by how bright the sunlight is and how clean the city looks. For someone who was born in NYC and spent a great deal of time in Manhattan, I cannot honestly remember very many days when the city looked that beautiful. Just an eerie irony I suppose.

BTW, I hope you are not going to bring up that Manhattan Demolition truck?

I you-tubed this, (with permission from the photographers) well over a year ago. The version I used is of lesser quality but slightly longer.

I was struck by how blase you are about posting footage of jumpers from the north tower, like its a minor consideration and without even mentioning it.
What other information did you manage to glean from this particular snuff movie?
That the fires werent very hot?

People jumping from a burning building hit by terrorists. Massive fires growing bigger with time. Impact of 175 caught on tape, the sound of a jet at full throttle going 590 mph. I heard it, makes the no planers idiots.

Not a thing new in the video, this was all seen by hundreds of people, thousands of people all around the city. They did clean up NY, you must of left in the 70s and they cleaned up after you and your trash ideas on 9/11. That is irony.

Makes all 9/11 truth ideas failed. What are your great 9/11 truth ideas anyway. No comment on your own OP, you withhold your ideas as usual.



I am sure truthers will make up dirt dumb ideas from this video; what a failed idiotic movement.
Sick truthers say the sounds of impacting bodies are explosions. Great dolts make great mistakes.

There is not a lot of additional information in that link. In fact, the opposite is true.

ok, so I am through the first 7 minutes. The ONLY thing of note in the first 7 minutes, aside from the horror of all the jumpers, is the movement of smoke out of the North Tower, as would be expected from the impact and explosion of the second plane when it hit the South tower.

I suppose some idiots will try to say that was explosives going off in the North Tower, but hopefully no one here will be so stupid.

I will now watch the rest.

I would suggest people ignore the troll until he does something he hasn't done in well over a year and 3k+ posts. Provide a coherent, reasonable, logical, evidence based analysis of something, in this case, the video.

I was actually thinking more how little fire there is, especially in the N. Tower. No need for people to be hostile, I just think it's an incredible piece of footage and I hadn't seen it before.

There is no new video. Every bit of it has been shown and examined ad infinitum since a few days following the event.

I think there was plenty of fire, we just could not see it at that time (the times that were shown). Most of the close video on WTC1 and 2 was taken early, around the time of the first impact, and then around the time of the second.

I have seen PLENTY of footage and photos that show lots of fire.

I have seen a lot of this footage before, but some bits of it were new to me.

False statement, those are massive fires. Why do you appear to be wrong on all 9/11 issues?

The video is proof of massive fires. At 911Blooooggggger the truther comments are dumb as usual, with idiot statements of massive explosions in the towers when 175 hits. The sound of 175 hitting is the result of 2093 pounds of TNT kinetic energy impact. It sounds like a 2000 pound bomb because it is a 590 mph aircraft smashing a large steel building. 7 years and not a single clue from 9/11 truth.

The energy released by the impact of the second plane is incredible. You can almost feel it through the video.

And Ibis I don't know what world you are living in but how in the hell could you say there was not very much fire in the North tower?

I gather people who make that claim take it literally from the lack of applying scale to the video they're looking at and the distance the viewers were from the towers. Each one was 200 feet and some change in width and each window was 18 inches wide. You aren't going to get any sense of scale from looking at video alone, people who were there to see it in person I'm more than certain had a much better vantage point to comprehend the sheer scale in size of the damage

In Reds Defense, i think he was referring to VISIBLE fire on the video, and he is right, most of the video coverage AT THE TIME of the towers, does not show multiple floors of raging fires. Most of this is blocked by smoke, or simply within the structure, rather than out through the windows.

I had never seen this footage previously.

I clicked on it just after you posted it and before any of the above responses were posted.

I saw the "streamer" and I saw the slowed down view of the Manhattan Demolition truck and said to myself that these were probably the talking points and then I clicked on your link to the "lot of information".

This is just the difference from those see a conspiracy and those who do not. Of course, Lucus sees possible thermite. I saw a stream of smoke that dissipated. He says it could have been a fire extinguisher or it, after taking the leap, could have been thermite.

Could have been, could have been, could have been....

Metamars calls a number for a demolition company and gets no response (on a holiday?).

Maybe the bright sunlight you saw was from that energy beam.

If there was "little fire", where was all that smoke coming from? I don't know, maybe the fire was inside the building where you couldn't see it? I did notice that the color of the smoke changed from black to gray. I would guess that the black smoke was from burning jet fuel, and the gray from paper, furniture, carpeting, etc.
 
After seeing several people "choose" to jump from a very great distance--with death certain, I was thinking how I would love to strike...very hard...the next idiot who says: "The fires were not very hot, duh-huh."

I was also thinking that you should include a warning in your thread title, or at least in the OP. Some people may not wish to view this material. Sheesh!

You have x-ray vision and can see the condition INSIDE the towers? Personally, if I had x-ray vision I would be staring at Salma Hayek and not the WTC but to each his own.
 
We all know the smoke released by the ignited thermite (sparked by the military missle launched across the Hudson) created a psychological euphoria with those trapped in the buildings into believing that there were thousand-gallon swimming pools on the streets and that they only wanted to break the Guiness Book of World Records for highest cannonball.

Sheesh, get with the times!

The first impression of anyone normal who watches the video is consternation over the shear devastation and horror, while you find something odd about the "size" of the fire.

You sure you want to continue that "agnostic" act much longer?

Since no one posted a link where this footage has been discussed previously on jref, it is new to jref. Therefore, it's part of the large body of material that anyone who is interested in this subject would want to see.

Perhaps wrongly, I assumed that this would mean a productive discussion would ensue. Instead, a good deal of hostility and childishness was the jref order of the day. This is far too common around here.

Among the interesting features of the footage is a devastating blow to the no planers since after the impact of the second plane, you can hear wreckage hitting the ground, and then a shot of a few people checking out a piece of the wreckage.

No I never have. Unfortunately, they garner a lot of attention around here (and almost nowhere else), so eliminating their arguments gives the "debunkers" one less weak argument to attack.
