This guy was a former Ku Klux Klan leader called John Lee Clary who Wade Watts influenced into a tolerance and acceptance of black people. Only 4 minutes long and very worth the watch. Seriously amazing stories:

These stories sound... embellished. Or maybe he comes across as too polished, as if he's told this tale 7.6 hojillian times already.

I gotta say it's funny seeing that, when I was in high school My way of combat was to have sex with the Klansmen's daughters. (Due to my "camouflage".) Lucky, lucky lad I was.

It wasn't scary for me. It may have been for the black residents of my community. My parents hated them and my school teachers condemned them. Overall they were the less educated, less motivated members of our commuunity and if they didn't have the KKK they would have been pretty much alone.

I was reading something interesting just a couple of days ago. From Wikipedia:

Byron De La Beckwith (November 9, 1920 – January 21, 2001) was an American white supremacist and Klansman who was convicted of killing civil rights leader Medgar Evers. ...

The most important fictional portrayal of Evers' murderer was written immediately after the event, before De La Beckwith was captured, by the Jackson, Mississippi native Eudora Welty: "Where Is the Voice Coming From?" (1963). As Welty said later, she said to herself, "Whoever the murderer is, I know him: not his identity, but his coming about, in this time and place. That is, I ought to have learned by now, from here, what such a man, intent on such a deed, had going on in his mind. The Klan's "ranks" and "titles" -- grand wizard, imperial dragon, great titan, level 23 half-elf priest (sorry, different juvenile past-time for bored white kids, that last one) -- crack me up. They always remind me of Calvin being "dictator-for-life" and Hobbes being "club president" of the "G. R. O. S. S" (Get Rid Of Slimy girlS) club.

I'll bet most of these "230 independent Klan groups" have about the same membership (2) of Calvin's club, too -- and, for that, matter, exist more or less for the same purpose as the G. R. O. S. S. club, namely, the members never do anything but make fools of themselves and squabble, but they're damned if they're going to let any girls Negroes join!

One of the most intelligent women I know was raised as a Nazi/racist/skinhead/idiot (but I repeat myself) and has serious problems with race, as she deals with all of the races in her business.
Her grandfather was one of the major poisoners of the gal. Really screwed her up.

Why does the white race need protecting/defending from other races? Especially when so many people in positions of power are white? What exactly is America in danger from? Why is the Constitution and the family and rights and freedom itself even in danger?

And what makes you think you're defending the white race in the best possible way? Do you not think there might be better ones? What do you think will happen if you don't do what you do? And how optimistic are you really that you can stop it by what you're doing?

What methods do you use?

Why do you call us violent as if it's an insult if you use violence yourself?

What makes you think America's problems are being caused by other races, rather than by other things, such as mismanagement/greed in high places by various people, such as that that caused the financial crisis, for example?

How are you educating people?

How do you know you have the correct information to educate people with?

What "basic Christian values" are you referring to? Don't you think Christian values conflict with what you do? For instance, Christian values include non-violence and compassion for people. I mean, the ones here seem to conflict with what the KKK seems to stand for, for example:

I notice that googling for "Imperial Kladd" gets me just 200 hits. As compared to, for example, 177,000 for "zombie squirrel".

So I don't think that your profile is as high as you think it is.

Still, keep trying. To be only 1/885th as notorious as undead sciuromorphs may not be much, but it's a start.

Well, you gotta have something to show that you're a more important racist scumbag than all the other, ordinary racist scumbags.

At least dictator-for-life is a somewhat meaningful title; but it is far from obvious weather a imperial dragon is more important than a great titan or ranks lesser than a supreme mugwump.

There was a time in the not-so-distant past when the Klan was a serious force of politics and power in not only the South, but really any rural community in the United States. They were in every state, at least in some fashion, and outright controlled many of them. You couldn't get elected to office in Alabama in 1950 without the Klan at your back, and if you made an enemy of the Klan, you'd lose your job and your house and no one would give you new ones.

Now, the Klan is in 6 states, soon to be 7.

Of course, in those states, the Klan doesn't have much of a presence. For instance, in Alabama, you won't find much mention of them in Mobile or Birmingham, except as old stories. Even in places like Monroeville and Cullman you won't see them rallying in the streets anymore. Those days are gone, even the rural South. That corner has been turned.

Not to say there aren't still problems with racism in the South, or elsewhere. Racism took a very long time to get to where it was by the time of the Civil Rights movement, and while the progress away from that is slow, it is there.

I think that even the KKKs attempts to repackage itself as being something other than racist is pretty telling here. The freakin' Klan knows that racism is considered a bad thing and shies away from it. That's gotta be worth something.

Oh, and, for the record, most Mexican immigrants belong to the Mestizo ethnicity, which is mixture of American Indian and European blood. This is not an ethnicity we track in the United States, wherein these Mexicans are considered white. They are also Christian, often very devoutly so. If the KKK really isn't a racist organization, then they should be standing and defending their white, Christian, immigrant brothers, shouldn't they?

You really need a monitor with a higher resolution than 640x480.

If you hit the "enter" key twice you can separate your wall of text into things called "paragraphs".

The letter "t" appears three times in the word "constitution", there's an "I" in the word "recruitment", and the word "hidden" has the letter "d" in it twice.

Is "hypercrit" an extreme "hypocrite"?

Now that that's out of the way (and ignoring numerous syntax errors)... what exactly is this "white way of life" you fear you are losing? Is someone threatening to tow away your trailer? Did they deny you the right to marry your uncle's daughter? Tell you you couldn't keep livestock inside city limits? Cancel Jerry Springer on your local TV station?

Do tell!

It's because his monitor resolution is only 640 pixels wide. It's part of Obama's plot to keep the white race down.

It reminds me of Mark Twain's autobiographical story on how, as a kid of twelve of so, he and a few schoolmates decided to go out to help the South in the civil war against the invading Yankees. They nominated themselves as lieutenant, sergeant, corporal, and a few privates. Most of their two-day heroic journey was spent in bickering whether a sergeant is higher than a corporal or the other way around.
 
Think about it, Imperial Kladd: Most people who've insulted you here are white. Contrast that with the attitude of the black clergyman Wade Watts who you can hear the interview about if you follow the link in the first post. The Klan group led by John Clary threatened him, which is more than you've done to anyone here, and even then, unlike some people here, he didn't respond by insulting them, - although if he had, it would have been more likely to have resulted in violence against him because it would have made them angry.

But John Clary says in the interview that he first met the man when they were both interviewed on the radio. He started calling him names, but the man responded not by getting abusive back but by saying there wasn't anything he could do to make him hate him.

Then he said he and his Klan group started going by Wade Watts's house, shouting abuse, and he didn't get any response until one day they turned up in their costumes, and he came out and jovially said Hallowene was four months away so they ought to wait till then if they wanted to do trick-or-treating.

They then burned a cross on the street across from his house, and he came out, and in a friendly way, he asked them if they wanted hot dogs and marsh mellows to go with their barbecue.

They then set fire to his church, though it was put out before it was destroyed. John Clary then phoned Wade Watts up and disguised his voice and threatened him, saying, "You don't know who we are, but we know who you are and where you live"; and Wade Watts responded by saying, "Hello Johnny, I'm honoured that you should call me; now let me do something for you"; and he prayed for him, asking God to help him because he couldnt help being stupid; he was a good boy really just trying to make his way in the world. John Clary couldn't stand to hear any more of that kind of talk and put the phone down.

He said the funniest thing that happened was that he and his Klan group saw Wade Watts in a restaurant, and they went in and told him it was a whites-only restaurant. He had some chicken on his plate, and John Clary said he was making him a promise, that what he did to that chicken, the Klan were going to do to him.

Wade Watts picked up the chicken and kissed it. Everyone in the restaurant started laughing, and so did his Klan group.

They went outside still laughing, and they said to John sarcastically, "What are we going to do now - have you got any more bright ideas?"

He threatened to suspend their membership while they were still laughing.

They never bothered Wade Watts again after that. And it says in other places on the Internet that what happened made him think about whether his attitudes to black people were right after all.

Of course, not all black people would have responded like that - some would have got violent. But doesn't the story show that to favour one race over another is simplistic, since some people of all races will do good for their communities while other people of all races will do harm?
