Question The "Obama Is A Cracker" people

OK, almost any time I drive home from work during daylight hours (rare any more) I see these people leafletting to cars in a major intersection wearing signs that say "Obama Is A Cracker" and "Impeach!" and looking like rejects from "The Great White North" or maybe that cousin in "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation."

Do you have them near you? Who are these guys? Is this some sort of weird organized movement?

On 9-11, I was walking from the Empire State Building uptown to donate blood at East 67th Street. Right in front of Dag Hammaskjold plaza, and with the towers burning behind me, were two Larouchies at a table asking me to come over and talk. If I could've thought more clearly, I would've belted both the guy and girl right there, but why waste good knuckle sandwiches on the likes of those?

About two or three months ago, there was a table set up on the sidewalk in front of the post office I routinely use. I was planning on snapping a picture the next day, but they didn't come back. From the way you describe them, it may have been the exact same people you saw.

When I lived in Berkeley, there was routinely a table of Larouchies in front of the entrance to the Center Street BART station. I examined their literature once. My favorite was a large green pamphlet with the title "The Pure Evil of Al Gore." The cover featured a fake image of Gore reviewing Nazi troops with Hitler.

"Cracker," seriously?!
Bush in Black-face maybe, and if we didn't impeach that entire criminal administration, I don't see how we can ever justify using option again.

If it was real it would have been Hitler reviewing the troops with Al Gore.

I'm not an American and I don't get it. I know that cracker is a derogatory term for whites from the south. What do these people mean by calling Obama cracker? Is it because Obama doesn't ''know his place as a black''? Is it because he is the president, an office that they consider only rightfully belongs to whites?

Obama isn't a cracker.

Right? I mean, he looks humanoid to me..

I'm only familiar with master race pita chips anyway, not peasant crackers.

Perhaps it is a pejorative meant to accuse Mr. Obama of enjoying a particular style of cocaine.

Or being a connoisseur of plumbers.

The only thing to get is that the Larouchies are batdung crazy. There's a madness to their methods. Maybe it's because he's half-white. Maybe it's because they think he's like Hitler. It's probably best to not try too hard to figure out what their "logic" is. They are essentially a cult, with ideas every bit as crazy as a cult. Just do a Google search on "Lyndon Larouche cult".

Do these odd people perhaps mean to call the President an Oreo?

Barry? an "oreo?" Nah, don't see it at all. Maybe one of them Little Debbie cream-filled Oatmeal cookies,...I mean, not that I equate firm conservative convictions to be "creamy," nor do I consider liberal affectations to be a moist Oatmeal brownie "cookies," but, I can understand the analogy,...not saying I support and agree with it, but, I can understand it.

I find one of the best ways to criticize nutjobs is by parody. Some funny poem maybe. Now, what rhymes with Larouche?

In front of my college there was usually a LaRouchite table.

They would tell you how paper money is just "worthless Federal Reserve Notes".

Then they would ask for a donation.

Yeah, I know.
