If Nelson Mandela had been an American, would he be a Democrat or a Republican and why? Explain.
Why does he have to belong to one? Mandela and the ANC are far to the left of either the Democrats or Republicans.

His stance on property rights would put him way to the left. It's a bit like the arguments whether Jesus would have been "left wing" (concern for the poor) or "right wing" (religion). Both concepts would have been totally foreign to him.
I don't think either party would want him. Hence, he'd be an independant...or possibly a Sith Lord.
[Jesus'] stance on property rights would put him way to the left.
Which would, in turn, lead to a poverty-stricken nation, with other, wealthier, devil-worshipping nations curiously being able to provide much better quality of life for their citizenry. How embarrassing for Jesus. I wonder what his memetic narrative rationalization would be?
You ought to take your own advice.Dude! Read the Bible for a change.
You ought to take your own advice.
He's right, you are wrong.
Sorry, pal.

Someone who read it.

Tell ya what, sport, Religion forum is ---------------> that way.
And no, you are wrong.
Try this, just once.
Read the Bible with your head.
Then, read it with your heart.
It's like two different books.
Of course it is. And Numbers always put me to sleep.actually, dude...it is like more than 50 books.

And he probably would have been assassinated by the FBI
Dude! Read the Bible for a change. Rome provided a better standard of living only for the oligarchs. There could be no latifunda under Levitical law.
It would take me more time than I have available to find the exact passage, but Jesus did rail against the money-lenders and land speculators who conspired to grab the land out from under the peasant farmers and reduce them to paupers on the land.
History is not on your side.
did Jesus not say "Give unto Caesar, what is Caesar's"
Given that there is no record of any such incident occurring, I find that unlikely.
