Anyone here heard of Sue Arrigo? She claims to be a former high-level CIA physician and now claims to be a victim of mind control and torture and has also stated that she has inside information of CIA having developed a vaccine for AIDS. She also says she treated Osama Bin Laden twice after 9/11. You can find her medical profile online and she indeed was a practising physician in California up till 2006 when her license apparently expired. She claims her father Joseph Arrigo was a covert-intelligence operative during

Her sister Jean Maria Arrigo, Ph.D who was a member of APA interrogation task force apparently believes her claims and has made supportive statements in regards of her claims.

Her other sister, Linda Arrigo, has deemed Sue a paranoid schizophrenic who has been mentally ill for the past ten years. You can find her statement at one of the links to a blog at the end of this post

A blogger called Gary takes a skeptical viewpoint into the subject:

Sue Arrigo responds to her sister Linda's claims: http://www.conspiracyplanet.com/channel.cfm?channelid=137&contentid=5304&page=2

Sue Arrigo really seems like a paranoid schizophrenic to me judging by the simple craziness of her claims, but would a person with severe mental illness retain their medical license for so long? According to Linda Arrigo she's been had been having paranoid episodes for 10 years in 2007, but Sue retained her medical license up till 2006. I believe she should have been stripped of it if she really was diagnozed with paranoid schizophrenia?

This page confirms she has had a medical license at some point, and I found the following medical profile from Rense.com(not trustworthy site, I know, but since we can prove she's had a medical lisence it propably is correct)
Sue Arrigo, MD California medical license G 50197 ...

Sounds reasonable that she should, but that's neither here nor there since it's a question of law. On what grounds can one lose one's medical licence in California?

Besides her or her sister just saying stuff, what other proof does she have of her claims?

I spent a considerable number of years working as an administrator for the state medical board in Nevada, and it's not that simple. A licensing board can't just "strip" a license simply because a licensee has been diagnosed with a mental illness, or for making crazy claims.

If the licensee poses a real threat to their patients, then, yes, the medical license can be revoked...but the threat has to be established with evidence in a disciplinary hearing. If the licensee violates the medical practice statutes, then their license also can be summarily revoked. If the board requires and monitors treatment for a verified mental illness, and the licensee violates that agreement, their license can be inactivated, suspended, or revoked, depending on the terms of the agreement. But being diagnosed with a mental illness, or being suspected of having a mental illness, is not, in itself, a violation of any statute governing medical practice in the USA.

Licensing boards usually try to HELP mentally ill licensees maintain treatment and keep their lives and licenses intact. A revocation is a drastic measure. Can't just yank it because "Crazy Sue" makes wild claims.

And Linda Arrigo is a human rights activist and member of Taiwan's Green party, not exactly the type of person who'd cover up for the CIA!

Ah the wonders of the WWW, where a seriously mentally ill person can post their every delusion and have them believed.

Getting to the Truth on Sue Arrigo

I am 1st cousin to Sue Arrigo M.D.
Some of the claims she has stated about her father and the CIA are correct.
Her mother was married to a CIA operative, and was herself put into service for that organization. Her mother's second husband was a member of the mafia and was very abusive to her.
How this ties into Sue and her experiences I'm not clear. I am working to find out information myself. All of her claims could be true.
That being said, she is having mental issues, but I believe them to be of having several personas instead of being a Paranoid Schizophrenic.
They are trying to get her help.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for finding this forum Egghead1964. Welcome aboard. :w2:

I, for one, would like to know what you find if it doesn't violate a persons privacy.

Be aware that when you say "having several personas" that tends to set off all sorts of alarm bells here because spontaneously developed Multiple Personality Disorder has little to no evidential support.
