I do not think that Robert Lanza's biocentrism woo is human specific. The really ignorant part of it is that we know that the universe started without any life or consciousness so his concept is literally dead. The best we can say is that this is philosophy not science.

I plead a certain ignorance of the scienteriffic implications here, but how can one have any physical universe without time? Do you have to be on the spot counting the time for it to pass? Of course you can say anything you want without having to make sense, but can someone who is not just chucking the bull explain how a universe without time operates, and how it differs from creationism?
