Russian stooge in Downing St

In the 50s Republicans were trying to scare people with the Communist threat, the Russians are coming! Funny now that it's mostly Democrats who accuse Russia of infiltrating Governments at every level. Joseph McCarthy - Democrat 2019

And their position is supported by the Mueller Report, the entire IC, as well as all Western Intelligence agencies. And you seem to forget the many Russian spies who had been in the US for decades.
High profile Russian assets have been uncovered in many European countries.

So yeah, this is like McCarthy if McCarthy had done his research instead of making **** up the way Trump does.

For a moment I thought you made a post or more than four words. It’s a quote. I should have known better.

So which is it,

1) you have no clue how saturated the social media was/is with politically motivated Russian bots and trolls?

2) you've heard about it but you don't believe it?

3) you simply don't believe a massive marketing campaign influenced anyone even though we know mass marketing is very effective?

4) you recognize the Russian campaign but you don't care because they campaigned for your preferred side?

5) something else?

I don't think there's much reason to label Boris a Russian stooge.

At worst a Useful Idiot, and the Useful bit remains to be demonstrated.

lol, time well spent

Always struck me as funny, you posting this. Aren't you spending the same amount of time, or probably significantly more, reading the same information as everyone else? Are you wasting even more time if you're consistently telling people they're wasting time?

Time waster.

The Russians certainly had spies in the US in the 1950's. OTOH, I don't think any of them were the people that drunken idiot McCarthy accused.

The KGB had the problem of having to invest a lot of manpower, time, money, and other resources in their espionage and covert operations. Putin has realized that dropping a few hundred thousand bucks on Facebook ads and Twitter bots is more than enough to get gullible and politically brain-dead Americans, Brits, and others to play into his hands. We do his work for him.

Putin discovered Democracy's Achilles Heel: Populism, which almost always ends in the people giving absolute power to one individual who promised to solve all their problems if you give him total power.
