Those calling for an independent 9/11 investigation: how should this be conducted

Lots of people in the "truth" movement are calling for an "independent" investigation of the September 11 attacks. However, I have not been able to figure out the specifics of how this new investigation would work. This is an important question: while the 911 commission investigation was imperfect, for there to be any point in investing the money a new investigation would need, this investigation would have to be better than (or at least add something to) previous government and independent investigations.

So, can anyone help with the specifics as to what kind of candidates would be wanted to sit on the commission, how they would be selected, what resources they would analyse, what they would publish, etc., that would be appreciated.
 
Ive seen this request all over the place, often with the condition that it is to be not governement funded (since that would make it governement-depended). Havent seen any ideas on how to "independently" finance such an investigation though. But imho the request is moot, since any commission making the same findings as the official ones, or more to the point, not stating that the governement was behind it all, would immediately be deemed a part of the conspiracy.

I think it should be a panel consisting of Killtown, JohndoeX, Truthseeker1234, Pdoherty, Alex Jones and Dylan Avery.

Witnesses and experts would come to testify and the panel could hold up pictures of various smilies to indicate their approval or disdain.

After all the evidence has been shown and analysed the panel would then deliberate for about two minutes and condemn all members of congress and every engineer and member of the military to "a traitor's death".

The panel will then be hailed as the saviours of the free world and America could have a proper government, just like the good old days.

Alex Jones would be king and the others would also be soon executed for "looking at the king in a funny way".

The "truth" movement will probably insist that whoever is involved in this "independent" investigation will arrive at the conclusion that 9/11 was an inside job, regardless of any evidence to the contrary. If not then the investigation was flawed and incorrect and should be redone.

The likely candidates would be Alex Jones, Jim Fetzer, Dylan Avery, Korey Rowe, Jason Bermas, and Jimmy Walter.

They would cherry-pick the evidence to suit their conclusion that 9/11 was an inside job.

Where evidence was lacking, they would just make stuff up.

And they would end up condemning one another as agents of the Reptoids.
 
The problem is that there is no disinterested money in the universe. If a private company funds it, then they'll be considered suspect if the investigation doesn't turn out the way they want it. They'll find out that a friend of a friend of a friend of a cousin of George Bush once worked in the mailroom at that company, and declare all efforts tainted as a result.

Let's face it, by the circular method of CT thinking, whoever funded the investigation would simply be declared part of the conspiracy if the result didn't please them.

Even if you let Dylan Avery and the wealthier CT'ers pool their money and pay for private groups to study evidence and interview witnesses, the first results that come back supporting the official story will be declared infiltration by "shills." The CT'ers who did put their stamp of approval on an investigation that found the official story to be true would immediately be expelled from the movement. "They've gotten to them!"

The new investigation would be declared a sham, a sock puppet meant to quell the uprising. That's what happens when you start from the absolute, unquestioned devotion to the conspiracy theory and work back from there. It's absolutely physically impossible, by any act that can be performed by human beings, to change their mind. That process of filtering out all evidence that doesn't fit their conclusion is 100% efficient in protecting their ignorance.

The opening day of the investigation Jim Fetzer will insist Dylan Avery attack him with a box cutter so he can prove just how easy it is to beat someone to death with his luggage. Assuming Dylan survives this ferocious attack he'll then insist Fetzer attack him with a box cutter so he can laugh in his face. JDX will prove to everyone he can fly a plane and do the noble thing and fly straight into the building housing the investigation, all in the pursuit of science. Unfortunately the FDR recovered at the crash site proves the plane actually didn't crash, it was a hologram, and JDX is alive and well at an undisclosed safe house (mental institute). A few days later the paranoia will start to show amongst the remaining panel members and they'll all start accusing each other of being a government shill, this will end up with one of them rigging the building that is housing the investigation with thermite and C4 to test the WTC demolition theory. Alex Jones will start the demolition by shouting "Pull it!" through his bullhorn and the building will fall at near freefall speed and be pulverized into dust and cause a pyroclastic flow. Dylan Avery's passport will be found some distance away from the demolition totally intact and molten metal will be found buried in the rubble.


Also you wrote that sentence incorrectly it should have read...

jon, I recall making the same query at the LC forum, and was met with abuse and attempts to change the subject.

I asked, if they assume an investigation is going to produce a conviction of the culprit(s), is it to be a legal trial, and if so, who would be the judge?
Also, would they accept the verdict?

And, as you have, I asked whether they preferred an investigation, and which organisations/individuals would they propose to put forward evidence, and who would assess it.

Good luck finding anyone willing to propose any answers. :)
 
the sad thing is there's nothing that could be done to have them accept the truth.

even if we had the above commission approve every aspect of the investigation by vote before hand

Yeah, the melee is ended when Killtown rings Dylan Avery's mum using voice morphing technology and says "It's me Dylan Avery, you do believe me don't you?" she replies "Yes!" and everyone begins to celebrate at the latest confirmation that 9/11 was an inside job, all in all a successful end to day 1 of the investigation.

Day 2 starts strangely in pursuit of the "truth", even though they are investigation 9/11 Killtown insists on firing off six bullets at the panel of scholars in some sort of mock Ronald Reagan assassination attempt, not one bullet hits its intended target in what can only be described as a kind of Pulp Fiction style moment. Later Killtown sneaks up on the high priest of "truth" himself, Alex Jones, and ricochets a bullet off the side of a black limousine door right into his armpit, tragically knocking his bullhorn out of his hand; Alex Jones is rushed off to hospital only to return for day 3 of the investigation in triumphant fashion.

I think on day three they should reenact flight 93, all the truthers pile into an airplane and crash it into a field in an attempt to prove it was really shot down.
 
What would be the point of a reinvestigation?

If a Government is so evil and powerful to pull off 911 and cover it up in the first investigation, they would do exactly the same in the second, the third, etc.

Unless the so called reinvestigation came out and said “Yep it was an inside job", these guys will just go on and on.

I think they secretly don't want a reinvestigation because they know once again they would be shown to be foolish. So they keep asking for it hoping it will never happen and hoping that by keeping asking for it they can justify their silliness.

But the scholars will die, I know it's the noble thing to do as part of the investigation but I will not let this happen, the world must not be robbed of such great minds. All the scholars of "truth" must be issued with tin-foil parachutes before they reenact flight 93.

Alex Jones should be wearing his red bandana and the rest of the scholars of "truth" should be wearing standard issue tin-foil hats during the descent, safety first. Communication from plane to ground will be possible via Alex Jones and his bullhorn because cell-phones do not work at altitude.

Well, Killtown did ask that JREFers 'guess' what a CT investigation would entail. Yep, that sounds pretty accurate to me - though you probably left out the bits about aliens and tin foil helmets :D
 
Thanks for all the replies. Good to know it's not just me who's confused about what a CT 'investigation' would entail. Maybe that'd be a good response next time someone tells me we need an independent investigation - 'that's interesting, I'm not sure if I agree, could you tell me what specific steps you think could be taken?'

Human remains - some as large as arm or leg bones - have been found at the site of the 11 September attacks in New York, AP news agency has reported.

The remains were found in rubble excavated from a manhole near the site of the World Trade Center.

That's really bad. I also remember the story of the bone fragments ontop the Deutche Bank (also mentioned in that article). Just imagine how all the families who's relatives died (and many not identified) must feel after this second such story.

actually if they found remains of victims whom they had not previously deiscovered remains for this could provide closure, so in a way it might be a good thing

Convince the owners of Apple(C), to donate the money. they have a solid reputation of being the "other guy" to the gigantic PC market. They are youth savvy with their i-pods.

If you can convince them another investigation is needed, i am sure they can spare 5-10 Million.

Yes, I agree. But the fact that it took such a long time, because the site and surrounding buildings haven't been investigated thoroughly enough... that's bad.

i wouldnt say it hadnt been investigated thoroughly, it hard to find everything, i remember when a bolt fell off my lawnmower it took me a month and a half to find it in my yard and thats only about a quarter acre, lol

The real purpose of Loose Change and other YouTube conspiracy screeds is to spur downloads of iSquirt, the Mac app for turning Flash video files into mp4s that you can watch on your iPod. What could be more enjoyable than Dylan Avery's voice in your ears as you ride the subway to work in the morning?

They could have the actor from those "I'm a Mac. I'm a PC." commercials preside over the investigation. I saw that guy on either Leno or Conan. He admitted he's not very computer savvy and doesn't have a computer, much less a Mac.

One of my CT opponents in another forum posted that story today, and asked "how did body fragments land on the roof of another building?" In other words hinting at skullduggery.

I asked her, "didn't you see the World Trade Centres collapse (or 'explode' :rolleyes: )"?

By the way, as far as we know those body parts on top of the 40-story Deutsche Bank building all came from the crash of flight 11. Debris from that plane was also found there.

Welcome to the forums, SLOB.
One thing the CTs haven't explained is what power this independent, unaffiliated-with-the- government body would have to compel people to testify or to hand over records. The 9/11 Commission had subpoena power and had members with top security clearance to view secret documents.
 
Actually, that brings up the larger point: if the government agreed to let this investigative body work and agreed to abide by their findings (whether it's a private group or the UN or whatever) that also taints the investigation in the CT'ers eyes.

After all, how can it be a legitimate investigation if THE CONSPIRATORS THEMSELVES AGREED TO LET IT HAPPEN!?!?!?

As soon as the results came back supporting the official story, it'd be, "well no wonder! They'd have never agreed to be investigated unless they knew the investigation was full of shills!!!"
