Eric Hovind, Kent Hovind's son, is trying to continue the lies and business (I say business because it is not a registered church or non-profit) that is Creation Science Evangelism. Since the elder is in the big house, Eric is trying to earn the cash.
Like his dad, Eric attended a unaccredited "college" called Jackson Hole Bible College. Jackson Hole Bible College is hardly impressive. It's a one year unaccredited "college" with creationist professors that don't even live in the same state as the "school." Among those listed on the faculty webpage is "Dr" Ken Ham, see my post on that. And you can read more: http://www.jhbc.edu/
See how Eric Hovind proudly mentions "completing" a college without mentioning the school is much different than your average college:

Eric recently debated Beren Robinson at the University of Guelph. According to a thread at the The Skeptics' Guide to the Universe Forum:
So the question is will the Hovinds finally go out of business and end up getting a real job or will enough people continue overlook the BS to support these liars?

Eric Hovind of Creation Science Evangelism in Pensacola, Florida is in Union Center, South Dakota this weekend explaining why the Genesis account of creation is not only important to Christians, but affects every area of our lives.
..
Eric Hovind is 27 years old and has been doing creation presentations for about eight years. He said he got into this work full time after completing college, and began by presenting at a home for troubled youths. He said that while it would be nice to give a joint presentation with his father Kent, their busy presentation schedule usually has them going in different directions.

Eric recently debated Beren Robinson at the University of Guelph. According to a thread at the The Skeptics' Guide to the Universe Forum:
The audience was almost all creationist aside from maybe ten of my group.
Dr. Beren Robinson argued that there's two ways of knowing, science based and faith basedand tried to argue for the differences between them. Each side was given 20 minutes fora presentation, and only ten minutes was used up for evidences for evolution...
...I had listened to a bunch of Kent Hovind debates and Eric said word for word all of Kent Hovind's arguments (so I won't go over them).
Question period was next, and Hovind used any question to launch into this mostly unrelated 10+ minute rant about some topic...
Dr. Beren Robinson actually tended to answer the questions quickly, and would just leave it at that, and by and large didn't counter Hovind's claims. Hilariously, at one point Hovind claimed that Robinson was interpreting the evidence to fit his preconcieved religious views.
I think Hovind really did very good during q & a period, and Dr. Robinson floundered at that point. But I think that the format was pretty rigged actually, since there wasn't any opportunity for him to counter anything that Hovind was claiming, and because Hovind used q + a as a continuation of his presentation instead of answering the questions.
...I had known that Hovind and Royal City Baptist Church were nutty, but wow. They were all young earthers, all defended Hovind on his tax charges (some claimed that he's going to be acquitted any day now... eventhough he's been convicted), all believed that a "New World Order" satanic world government is right around the corner (the pastor claimed that Trudeau was part of a secret society that is running the world and that the UN is the first step towards World Government, and that George H.W. Bush said that the NWO is going to happen).
Afterwards I met up with Eric Hovind himself. I flat out asked him about his nuttier claims. "Was T-Rex a herbavore?" He said that you can't know that they weren't because we never saw them, and because they have found cellulose on their teeth. I asked him about the New World Order, and he said the same thing as the Pastor (he also asked me to prove that it ISN"T the first step towards World Government). I asked him about Kent's views on the 9/11 attacks, and he slyly stated that he thought that it's possible that the government was involved...
So the question is will the Hovinds finally go out of business and end up getting a real job or will enough people continue overlook the BS to support these liars?
