-Changing numbers of solved cases
-Alien abductions

1) Crystal Arensdorf (Browne said family would get Christmas card.)

Six years later her mother Sherry appeared on Montel and pressured the police to follow up on the leads Browne gave her. They also got six tips from people watching the show. Killer or killers still at large.)
24) Lindsay Wells (Link) (Brother Ryan was on the same episode as Shawn Hornbeck's family. She told him she was dead and dumped in a culvert and that it would be a big lead for the police. As far as I can tell, she's still missing. )

31) Frank Mazzella (Man vanished on the way to church one Sunday morning, daughter Suzanne appeared on Montel 3 years later and got Sylvia's usual nonsense. Sylvia told her that her father was dead and when she asked for the location of the body, she blew it off, saying it wasn't important cause he's on the Other Side. I wonder if she does this cause she can't be bothered or if she's trying to cover herself by discouraging family members to look for the body. )

65) Sherri Hassett and Robert Hassett (Young man is convicted of the murder of his father's wife, birth mother appears to find out if there was anyone else to try to blame.)
66) Jackie Blair (Missing since July 2000.)

So out of 93 cases (27+66) Browne has solved/been correct on ZERO. That appears to be far lower than her "87% accuracy rating." We are still waiting for proof of one case that she helped solve. Also keep in mind, she got paid for her appearances on Montel as well as the phone calls when she made these claims.

Thanks for posting this.

I hadn't seen some of these. I'm going to take some time to go through them. The one on aliens was new to me. And on how many cases she's claimed to have solved. Interesting how she claims all these successes and yet just about the only one we ever hear her mention specifically is the years-old ski mask rapist case. With an 87% accuracy rate, one would think she could come up with something a bit more recent...

Thanks alot, QG.

There are a least a few more- you didn't include Christopher Scarbell and C.J. Scarbell.

Father and son lost in plane crash, bodies never found, former wife and mother Pat appears to ask Sylvia about the location of the bodies and is told a bunch of nonsense amounting to that the bodies would never be found.

http://localtechwire.com/news/local/story/100605/

I don't think the bodies were ever found but that was easy to assume.

There was also the sad case of Ryan Thompson:

http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=109236

This is one of the few times that Sylvia has actually done predictions for the perpetrator or alleged perpetrator's family and not a victim's family.

The tragedy here is that the boy could actually be innocent. The last thing a person wrongfully accused of murder needs is a psychic inserting him or herself into the proceedings.

QG, it is so good to have you back. Robert is very pleased. I can't wait for him to get back and start putting more of your research and Eeney's up on the site!

There was also Elizabeth and Nicole Watkins:

http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108051

Again, very sad story and, again, unsolved to this day.

And this young lady, Zandra Ducsay:

http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=104139

And this young gentleman:

http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85878

There was also the murder of Gail Matthews and her daughter Tamara Berkheiser- I don't believe I posted the information to this forum but I did send everything I had on it to Robert.

And there was the case of a Mr. Douglas Jones- that's another article in the works.

So there were alot more than 93 cases. Alot more.

75) Wayma Lynn Morgan White
76) Christopher Scarbell and C.J. Scarbell (Father and son lost in plane crash, bodies never found, former wife and mother Pat asks Sylvia about the location of the bodies.)
77) Richard Torres (Wife Linda appearing on Montel on October 20, 2004.)

Bringing the total to 103 cases that Browne provided no help for.

I think there are more, QG :(. I have a feeling we are missing a few here and there and maybe more than that. :(

There were so many of them and it was so long ago...

It's also worth mentioning that those are of the ones that you and could identify. If you count in all the cases where we couldn't find a last name or any more information besides the Montel appearance, it would bring the number to about 120 - 140.

Isn't it eerie how she manages to get everything wrong...
I attribute it to just plan bad guessing

16) Terressa Lynn Vanegas

Here's an excerpt from the program:

PROGRAM: The Montel Williams Show
DATE: March 21, 2007 Wednesday
SHOW: THE MONTEL WILLIAMS SHOW 5:00 PM EST
TITLE: SYLVIA BROWNE: FAMILIES DESPERATE FOR ANSWERS
ANCHORS: MONTEL WILLIAMS, HOST
LENGTH: 9352 words

...
MONTEL WILLIAMS, HOST: Well, my first guest says that she is desperate to find out who killed her 16-year-old daughter and bring that person to justice. I want you to take a look at this.

BEGIN VIDEO CLIP

JEANETTE, WANTS TO FIND OUT WHO KILLED HER DAUGHTER: I am desperate for answers. I hope Sylvia can tell me who murdered my daughter. Terressa Lynn Vanegas was 16 years old. She was a very giddy, outgoing personality. And everybody loved her. Terressa was found laying facedown. We found out that she was severely beaten and strangled to death.

MICHELLE, WANTS TO FIND OUT WHO KILLED JEANETTE'S DAUGHTER: Terressa was my cousin. I got a call late that Friday afternoon. It was my sister, and she told me that our cousin, Terressa's body was found in Dickinson High School football field. The whole family was down at the crime scene the very next day, that Saturday. There was nothing taped off. We could just walk right up to the crime scene, and then her sister actually found her eyeglasses and her hair clip about 10 feet away from where her body was found. I am very worried about the investigation.

JEANETTE: I'm very angry, very upset. The promise I made to my daughter is to find out who did this to her, so she can be at peace, I can be at peace, my family can be at peace.

END VIDEO CLIP

WILLIAMS: Please welcome Jeanette and Michelle to the show. Welcome them. Even today, Jeanette, nobody has the slightest idea of who might have had something against your daughter, right?

APPLAUSE

JEANETTE: No.

WILLIAMS: What did you want to ask Sylvia?

JEANETTE: I just want to know if...

SYLVIA BROWNE: This was an older, older man. We're not talking about a young man.

JEANETTE: Okay.

BROWNE: I mean, I'm 70, so I don't know what old is anymore. But I'd say this was a man in is 50s, which certainly isn't old. His name is...

WILLIAMS: Does he live in the area?

BROWNE: Yes, he lives in the area.

MICHELLE: He lives in--has he done it before?

BROWNE: Yes.

JEANETTE: He has.

BROWNE: Twice before.

JEANETTE: He's the child molester.

UNKNOWN: He's the child molester.

BROWNE: Twice before.

MICHELLE: Okay, I think the police...

BROWNE: And the thing that bothers me is--this really bothers me. Is he works at a school near there.

MICHELLE: Can you tell us what happened to her shoes? Like, we're still trying to find her shoes.

BROWNE: He has 'em.

JEANETTE: And does she have anything special to say to us, and is she okay?

BROWNE: The nicest thing about it is, if you can ever say anything nice about this horrible tragedy, is that she really went really quick.

MICHELLE: She did?

JEANETTE: Good.

MICHELLE: 'Cause we were worried about that.

BROWNE: Of course you would be.

MICHELLE: The police told us that she was still fully dressed and she didn't have any signs of abuse, which we found out later was completely the opposite.

BROWNE: That's wrong. No, she was hit and everything.

WILLIAMS: Will they catch this man?

BROWNE: Yeah. He's around all the time. He has a beard. You know, a mustache and a beard.

WILLIAMS: He has or had?

BROWNE: He had at the time, yeah.

MICHELLE: Okay.

JEANETTE: But she's okay?

BROWNE: Yeah, she's okay. But, you know, you don't expect somebody that you work with or around all the time to just...

MICHELLE: Yeah.

BROWNE: ...you know, drag you out and beat you up and strangle you.

MICHELLE: Was she walking, and he just came and grabbed her, smashed her? Did she go with him willingly?

BROWNE: No, no, no, no.

MICHELLE: He came and grabbed her?

BROWNE: Uh-uh. She wouldn't have done that.

MICHELLE: Where they found her body is where she actually was...

BROWNE: Died, yeah.

MICHELLE: ...killed right there.

BROWNE: Yeah. In other words, she wasn't killed in the room and then dragged out.

MICHELLE: Yeah, 'cause we were kind of wondering 'cause there's apartments on one side, houses on the other, and then Dickinson High School right in front, and nobody saw anything. So we were wondering if it even happened out there.

BROWNE: Do you know how many people are killed--I swear to God, 'cause I work with the police so much--in broad daylight, even in front of people, in plain view, and nobody does anything? There was a thing on primetime in which people were actually being abused. I don't know how many of you saw that. People just walked by 'em.

WILLIAMS: Let me take a little break.

BROWNE: It's just terrible.

BROWNE: We'll be back right after this.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

It should be pointed out that in December 2006:

Terressa Vanegas Murder Investigation Is Moving Forward...
Wednesday, December 13, 2006 - 17:15

The Dickinson Police Department interviewed the witness and showed him two photos of convicted sex offenders who live in the Dickinson area. One of the offenders in question has a long criminal record and was considered a person of interest in the 1990 attempted murder of an 8-year-old girl. It is not yet known if DNA has been collected from either of these men.

Here is a news story from November 08, 2006 and another here.

As with other Sylvia Browne cases, the murder remains unsolved: http://www.ci.dickinson.tx.us/police_unsolved_crimes_061031.htm

39) Joshua Guimond

Here is his mother's appearance with Browne:

PUBLISHER: THE MONTEL WILLIAMS SHOW
DATE: February 11, 2004 Wednesday
SHOW: The Montel Williams Show (5:00 PM ET) - SYND
TITLE: Sylvia Browne: Unexplained Disappearances; Guests search for answers about their missing loved ones
LENGTH: 7020 words
HOST: Montel Williams

...
MONTEL WILLIAMS: Well, you know, 20-year-old Joshua was playing cards with some friends when he just stood up, left the room and no one has seen him again. Take a look at this.

(Excerpt from video)

LISA (20-year-old son missing since November 12, 2002): He's very friendly. He's very open with people. He's always willing to help somebody out. I don't know, it's just--he's a really good kid. The night that he went missing, a couple of his friends and he--they went over to this party, it was a card party. They said that Josh stood up. They thought maybe he was just--you know, he was going to go to the bathroom or whatever. He didn't say anything to anybody. That was the last they saw of him. The search started that night. They brought in boats. They had helicopters on the second day hovering over the area that they were searching. The dogs picked up his scent, and it led them to Stump lake. The police are saying that they believe that Josh is still in the water.

I miss him coming home. I miss him calling me on the phone. I miss being able just to see him and touch him. I'm hoping Sylvia can tell us when Josh is coming home. I don't particularly want to ask her, you know, if he's alive or dead because to me, he's alive. I just want to know when he's coming home. Not if. When.

(End of excerpt)

WILLIAMS: Please welcome Joshua's mom, Lisa, to the show. Have--have the police offered any other information? Do they even understand why he got--there were a lot of--how many guys were at the party, first off? People at the party?

LISA: There was nine people total at the party. There was eight guys and one girl.

WILLIAMS: And they all said the same thing. He was just playing there--playing a game of cards, stood up, looked around...

LISA: Every one--every one of them said the exact same thing, you know. They said that, all of a sudden, you know, he just stood up and--and didn't say a word and walked off. And they thought he went to the bathroom, and they didn't see him in--after that at all. Nobody saw him. They don't know if he--you know...

WILLIAMS: And then the dogs--the police come in. Now, they think he was on foot, and he walked off?

LISA: They know he was on foot. He was only, like, three miles--three minutes from his dorm. This other party was just across the bridge. And he had to cross this bridge, a little--and it went over this little part of this lake, and so they walked on to the party from his dorm, we--and supposed--you know, supposedly, he walked back, or they thought he walked back.

WILLIAMS: Was this uncharacteristic of him to just get up and walk away from people that way, or did he do that often?

LISA: No, they thought...

WILLIAMS: If he got tired of something, he just left?

LISA: They thought that--that it was very strange. You know, they just figured, 'Well, he's gone.' But they said normally, he would stand up and say, you know, 'I--I had enough. I'm going to go back to my room, work on my paper,' you know, or 'I'm tired, I'm going to bed.' Evidently, this time, he didn't say a word.

SYLVIA BROWNE: Who is the light-haired girl that's a little bit on the plumpish side?

LISA: That's--that would be...

WILLIAMS: Don't say her name. That would...

LISA: The only person I could think of would be his...(censored by network). And she was not there. She was--she was at her own dorm on a different campus.

BROWNE: Did she mention to you that he had called her?

LISA: No.

BROWNE: Because he had called her to tell her that he was going to meet her at another party.

LISA: She didn't--she said that, you know, she didn't have any plans. They--they had actually broken up the month before. So, you know, they were still hanging out. They were still friends, but they were no longer...

BROWNE: Yeah, but he had called her and said, 'I'm going to be at this other party if you want to show up and...'

LISA: Well, I just, you know. I--I don't believe that, you know, I--he wasn't a like--a big partier, I guess. I mean, I--he did hang out in college. He did, you know, party with some of his friends, but...

BROWNE: No, no one's saying that he's a big partier.

WILLIAMS: Just said he was going to go--if he went to a card game, he could be going to another card game.

BROWNE: He just--yeah. Yeah.

WILLIAMS: He could have been going over to listen to some music. And that's--she didn't say partying. He was going to another party, and on campuses, you know, parties can be anything from drinking parties to just people sitting around watching...

BROWNE: Watching the game.

WILLIAMS: ...video game. So...

LISA: You would think that he would...

WILLIAMS: Do you think something happened to...

LISA: ...he would leave with the same, you know, couple of guys that he showed up with to this card...

WILLIAMS: He obviously didn't, but, Sylvia, is he on the other side?

BROWNE: It's--yeah, he's on the other side, but he was looking at his watch, and he realized that she might show up at that party. I don't know why she's clammed up. But that she might show up at the other party, and he just got up and left.

LISA: Is he on the campus?

BROWNE: No, he's in water.

LISA: He's in water, but not on the campus in the--in water on the campus?

BROWNE: Oh, it could be water on the campus, yeah.

LISA: Is he close to the campus?

BROWNE: It could be water on the campus because he's not very far from where he left from.

WILLIAMS: So I would say to you that if the police searched that water, have them search it again.

LISA: They won't do any more searching. As far as they're concerned that, you know, nature will take its course, or they--as they told us, he's stuck in the muck, and the turtles ate him.

WILLIAMS: Got to take a break. We'll be back.

BROWNE: That wasn't nice.

LORNA (22-year-old daughter has been missing since May 2003): (From upcoming segment) Just show me a dream, a vision, something, you know. And I tell you, and--and she'd be gone for seven months. And he showed me a dream a week ago, and it was like it was real, and she was here.

You have Angela Lee as "unknown" but her killer has recently plead guilty and has been sentenced to prison. It's now known Sylvia Browne was wrong.

I still have a feeling there were more...

Has the charlatan made any statements in the past about Caylee Anthony? Come on, with all that media attention, I'm sure she'd be up for more inaccuracies.

77) Anwa Abb Ford (Mr. Ford either committed suicide or was murdered and though it was ruled a suicide, his sister was convinced he was killed. Sylvia told her the same but no one has ever been convicted or even charged.)

78) Nicholle Marie Coppler: http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=136026

79) John South : http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/s/south_john.html (Son and daughter appeared on Montel, Sylvia told them he was killed by a homeless man named Rudy. The case is still a mystery)

Disturbing...this is.

(not about Browne's record...but to read about all those brutal murders...stabbings and kidnappings...this disturbs me...one of the reasons I studied martial arts...)
